Ok this is a no bias post Actions come with consequences When HRY kills that dragon, it’s set up for chaos and their child would die no matter what. If FML takes the punishment, the child inside her would die If ML takes the punishment, this is where we are.
I kinda find it a little odd that FL never asked why no one took her back to the heavens for punishment. It seems like the concept of cause and effect is non-existent to her.
EP18:I'm a bit confused on the timeline. Zhang Suan and Ling Er met the bandits in the mountain and the bandit…
You already picked up some crucial information with the bandit part. Another one before that is when the thunder dude tried to find his boss (the ML) but got blocked by a giant water wall.
If you want further spoiler, the preview for ep 20 confirms it.
Any guess how long did BJS take the heavenly punishment?Prolly the same 10 years no? Or longer??Hmm
My guess is the punishment will last 10 years or longer. Given how harsh it is, the child inside the female lead likely won’t survive unless the male lead takes her punishment. :(
There’s something I gotta say though. If ML didn’t take the punishment for FL, their child would die during the punishment ;( . Maybe this is some sort of consequence for meddling with fates.
I agree because if Siling keeps interfering with mortal affairs then she'll land in trouble sooner or later.
Yup, Siling wants to help the mortals, and I get it, but it does come with consequences. Her own health will get worse and the punishments from the heavens.
I'm confused...please explain ep 14 to meWhy is jui si looking for a girl? He said not to get married but what?
He was mad at her for ignoring his warnings and meddling with mortal fates, which endangered her health. As a result, she risks punishment from the heavens above. Moreover, she’s neglecting her love tribulation. His attendance at the blind date is just an act.
"Why is she so kind?" No, that's not the main point that happened in episodes 13 and 14. Didn't you notice that…
The thing is, they aren’t normal mortals. Having no friends or avoiding servants is probably for the best, since they don’t age like normal humans. We saw her save the child, which sparked all sorts of rumors, such as people thinking she’s a witch. Using their powers to change mortals’ fates is also something they’re not supposed to do.
I love them in Episode 13. ❤️ So, the Nine Heavens are already aware of FL interfering with fates and killing that dragon is probably the last straw. They will punish FL, but ML goes to the Nine Heavens and takes the punishment for her. This is why ML won't be by her side. It seems like they are going to go back to the present in Episode 16.

Bai Jiusi goes to the Nine Heavens to receive a thousand thunderbolt punishment in place of FL during that time (there's a scene of that in the ending credit). FL interferes with the mortal's fates too much it triggers cause and effect, they want to punish her but ML takes the punishment to protect FL.
