I've spent the whole day watching this and I'm 12 eps deep now and no matter what anyone says or classifies this as (BL or bromance or whatever) you CANNOT tell me that they're not in love with each other. The subtext is so incredibly loud and clear. Like we might not get anything actually physically explicit or anything due to censorship, but the feelings and emotions are so real and intense between both boys it's the most obvious thing in the world to me. Anyway, I'm obsessed...and I realise now that I should have paced myself with this one bc I hate waiting for new eps 😭
It's been such a long time since a GMMTV show has gotten its hooks into me like this but I'm officially OBSESSED with this one. I love the characters, the acting is fantastic (Krist and Gawin were made for these roles!!) and the chemistry is wonderful. I'm so happy with the pacing, the plot and how the story is coming together too. I was really looking forward to this one, and I'm so glad that it's exceeding my expectations so far :')
I feel like this drama really grows on you. I like it more with each new ep. It's just so endearing to me...and I really like the slow build of Thi and Noey's relationship. I personally really like romances that take their time, and this one is just so wholesome and sweet.
I also love how campy this drama is. Doesn't take itself too seriously, but then there are these poignant little moments that give you a bit of an emotional punch in the feels. I started watching this on a whim with no real expectations, but it was so easy to speed through the eps until I was up to date. I just enjoy this one a lot and I'm going to be sad once it ends!!
When I'm not crying from laughter, I'm kicking my feet in giddiness. This drama is SUCH a breath of fresh air. Everything about it just makes me smile so much my cheeks hurt :')
I CANNOT BELIEVE I'M FINALLY GETTING A MILKLOVE GL WITH THEM AS THE MAIN PAIRING. ALL THAT MANIFESTING PAID OFF!!!!!!!!!!! I'M GONNA BE ABSOLUTELY INSUFFERABLE THE MOMENT THIS STARTS AIRING.
I just know I'm gonna be obsessed with this the moment it drops. I really love this kind of angst. I love both Perth and Chimon (and think that they're really talented actors). I love their chemistry too. There are just so many things I'm looking forward to with this one and I'm so excited!!!!!
The wait for this one is gonna be TORTUROUS 😭 The cast is stellar and I can't wait to watching this hot, hot mess of a drama. I just know it's going to be so entertaining. The beat drop with the Tilly Birds song at the end of the trailer is everything to me!!
Genuinely cannot WAIT for this drama. Prob my most anticipated drama of 2023. Loved the pilot trailer. I'm so excited to see Nonkul and Bright act their hearts out and turn me into a sobbing mess.
Oh really? I’m on episode 3 and all they’ve been doing is insulting her because she doesn’t fit the “norm”…
Yeah, in the start she kind of messes things up quite a bit since I guess they're trying to show the contrast/difference between her character and everyone in the palace, but I feel like her talents and capabilities start to show more from ep 4 onwards.
Although others seem to see her in a certain light bc of her appearance, she's very comfortable and confident in herself which is really nice to see imo. Her personality really starts to shine through more as the eps go on and I find her really endearing.
To say that I'm obsessed with this drama would be an understatement. It's just such an utter joy to watch. So much fun!! The characters are adorable and endearing...and I love the relationships too. I love it more with each ep, and honestly all the eps just fly by. I'm already dreading getting to the end of this one.
I actually liked the kiss! I thought it was really tender and appropriate for the moment. I honestly just loved that whole last scene bc it was really sweet and romantic. I love their chemistry. The way that Prince used Fah's line back at him to comfort him was so lovely :') I'd want to kiss him too after that. Especially seeing how affected he was by Fah's words.
I know it was a pretty light kiss, but it makes sense to me given the circumstances. Fah was just pouring his heart out over how heartbroken he was after his last relationship, and Prince wasn't expecting it...also, although Fah wasn't completely drunk anymore (more hungover), he was in a really vulnerable state. If I were in Prince's position, I'd be kind of hesitant/tentative too bc I wouldn't want to take advantage of him at a time he was so upset.
This show isn't anything groundbreaking, but it just makes me feel happy and warm inside. I like the characters and the romance...and, most of the time, that's all I need to find a show enjoyable even if there isn't a whole lot of plot happening (or if the plot is messy).
