I kinda agree. So far I can name only 3 shows where I haven't skipped through anything.
I have noticed that I've been looking for stories with more substance so thats probably why I wasn't super blown away by the first ep.

When Ae mentioned shrimps, I could tell he wasn't actually talking about shellfish. After that conversation with Pete's mom, I was giggling so much till the end of the episode.

The first episode was okay. I did end up skipping through some stuff... but I skipped through Bad Romance and TWM as well. I'm gonna give the season my normal 3 episode rule. Hopefully it will get better.

Finally got to watch ep 8 (the wait was agonising!) And oh my gosh it was so hard to stop myself from squealing and laughing out loud. Horny Ae and seductive Pete, Pond and Cha Aim becoming a couple, the TinCan kissn meeting the families. Man. This episode was basically perfect.
Pond is literally the best AePete shipper. Seriously. Everyone needs a wingman like him lol.

Okay. But did you even read the show summary before watching it? Its pretty obvious that that was going to be an aspect. And in my opinion they didn't stick to the normal format of that trope.

I suppose the "fetishizing hetsc comments was what I was addressing in your comment rather than everything else.
It seemed a slightly aggressive statement is all.

The enjoyment of a show is entirely based on opinion. Shows I enjoy, you may dislike. And vice versa.
And I've spoken to a few people in the comments. and not all of us are "fetishizing hets" (myself very much included)
From my own experience in the community, this show is fairly accurate in its portrayal of LGBT couples (for most of the couples) and is not angst ridden.
But yeah. As I said. Its all opinion based.

I think LBC may be blowing up the top/bottom stereotypes a little...

Okay. But LBC definitely has some of the best support characters I've ever seen in a drama (BL or otherwise). Like Type was literally the MVP of this episode.
