I don’t understand some BL fans. One of the main complaints since the beginning of LBC was that it felt too…
I personally couldn't sit through the whole KlaNo scene. To be honest, it made me feel slightly ill at the end, especially when Kla was manipulating Techno. Till the last few episodes the show had been doing a really good job of handling consent and the KlaNo stuff, and that TumTar scene in the previous episode, really threw a wrench in that.
So, I finally got around to watching the last episode, and man did I get emotional knowing there would be noting to look forward to next Friday. I'm glad the show had a happy ending for AePete at least and while I'm a small bit salty about TinCan and that their whole relationship seemed a bit rushed, I'm still not too mad about their end. Where the show did lose a few points from me was a bit from the TumTar scene in Ep 13 and the whole KlaNo scene in this one. I was really really uncomfortable with it tbh and could barely watch it (I ended up skipping almost the entire scene from the Director's Cut version. Overall its still one of my favourite BL shows till date.
Are you trying to tell me that poor communication, childish fights, irresponsible behaviour and mindless infidelity…
" the fans of childish bl stories are all here talking" I'm pulling this from your original comment. This means, you consider TWM as an example of a mature story. Despite the endless immaturity displayed by each an every character in the show. Like seriously. Yes adulthood has all the things you mentioned. But those are signs of very immature and very dysfunctional adults. And Apathie talked about this too - LGBT stories don't always need drama and tragedy. They deserve happiness too. That isn't childish or romanticized. That is a facet of real life too. And to be honest, I'm exhausted by the overdone tragic BL story lines. Maybe you just enjoy angst and heartbreak. But that doesn't give you the right to put down another show that has a more positive outlook on a gay romance.
watching the comments seems suspicious, the fans of childish bl stories are all here talking B...t about this…
Are you trying to tell me that poor communication, childish fights, irresponsible behaviour and mindless infidelity is a paradigm of an adult relationship? And you know what, since you brought up LBC. Yes. It is romanticized. They are 18. And college kids. Love is supposed to be beautiful at that age. But despite that, LBC depicted a far more mature relationship that the trainwreck of this show. Conflicts are resolved by communication, not sleeping with your boss/ex.
