He has good acting skills that learned through time and he worked hard to become who he is. Saying a statement got twisted around. Anyone besides newborn has not said something out of line in their lives? Wokes need to ask yourself and watch your face in the mirror before making any judgement. Wokes are hypocrites!!!!

After over 15 years of watching Chinese costume dramas, this is the second one that I gave so much respect to the production team and cast. The first one was Love Like the Galaxy and this one is executed so exceptionally excellent. 9.8 for me. Love the OST and the story line as well as all the characters, including the villains. The comedic energy plus the ‘not so bad angst’ definitely cancels each other out. The main leads are excellent and the cinematography is so mesmerizing.
Please give respect to all the talented actors. They gave us an excellent performance in this show.

It is highly possible. The kid may get a little bigger heart for his age at 11 and he will grow into it. If he gets a heart of his age, when he grows up, the small heart is not providing enough blood pumping support for a much taller and larger body size. At ep. 25, they showed an older kid sitting at the table dining with both sides of parents.

Just completed this. So lovely to watch a romcom with no expectations and it was so cute and very lively possible. Really like the main couple and their chemistry is really good. Watching it with so little angst. I really like both leads and got here from their other dramas.

Just finished. Glad to see Tian Xiwei did a completely different type of character that she has always done in the past. She did a beautiful job in this drama. Her performance was very elegant and yet very charming, so soul touching with the sad scenes. Xu Kai is ok. I like him more in a bit comedic roles like Wonderland of Love. He was so awesome in Military Academy.
I agree with some, Wu Jun Ting could be the new kid on the block, tall, cute and very classy!!!
Good show although the middle seems a little draggy but solid 8 for me.

Hope you have a mindset to enjoy life instead of fanning the gossip. People have freedom to make comments. His comment is just a casual saying. Ask ourselves if we ever have said something casual and now the world wanting it politically correct!!!!! Life is short so why let lil white lies or comment tear the world apart. He is talented and just watch the drama for many other people putting in the hard work to make it instead of just one silly comment. May God bless the world and heal people’s souls.

At episode 23, so nice to see a strong FL in detective investigations. This show is awesome and I strongly recommend watching it. If it’s not your cup of tea, admit it instead of writing a bad review. The cases have its logics applicable to the era and Chinese culture. Respect the hard working that everyone making this drama for us to watch.

At episode 27, so far very good with quite a few of angst. The main leads have so much sweet chemistry together. The chemistry is very appropriate for that era of life. The ML keeps listening to the FL and looks at her with sweet admiration, that is already very tenderly loved by the standard of that era. Both leads are great in acting and so cute together.
Most rich men marry a wife, consumate, then expect wives to do everything in the household and go on to marry concubines. So, watch it. Very appropriate for that era so we must have a good understanding of the past and history.

I have a different vibe on this drama. It is very well made for you want to re-live your life if you have a chance or to go to a different life dimensions compared to the current boring life ….. I strongly suggest to watch it.

I disagreed with the negative comments about this drama. It is unique and you need to have an open mind to watch it. It is beautifully made to weave the possibilities of reliving your regrets in your life or things that would happen differently in your life you never could imagine if you would choose/decide differently. FL keeps going back to the past and things would change slightly every time. She did it to get away from a current boring life and also to try to change her past. Don’t we sometimes wish we can go back in life to make changes and see if things would turn out differently? Including friends, family matters, and love? The beginning is bit messy setting the stage and wow! I realize FL kept wanting to go back to make changes and finally, she accepted life and move on…. Is it him with the umbrella behind her in the snow/rain at the final scene? So we wish things happened the way we want ….

This movie really touched my inner soul, making me conscientiously spending some time to think through my life events and how would things happen differently if my decisions and choices were different?!?!

I highly recommend this to anyone that like this type of drama that has high impact on feelings and imagination of 3 or 4-dimensional timelines of lives.

She is who she is and she pocketed her deserved paycheck. Why so critical!!! A lot of people like her…

There’s angst but not very bad. I strongly suggest you should continue. I love both main leads as they did a great job in the roles. My favorite after LLTG.

It’s really good and fun to watch. The angst is not that bad compared to to other dramas. This is my 3rd time watching because it has a very logical flow pulling in my attention. I’m at ep. 12 now. So heartbreaking to see ML in his wedding outfits.
Verdict: watch it.

At episode 28, the acting by both leads are superb! Love Bai Jingting’s facial expressions on his confessions to the girl. Excellent story line and seems good pacing of timeline. Like the storyline concept of before-now-recap of between the lines. Pretty good show. Binged in 2 days so far. He only has black outfits in the closet….

7.8 score for me. Only skipped a few scenes in the court and the bad prince. Otherwise, I watched every scene and listened to all conversations. The ML is very handsome and I wonder he sang one of the OST. Cried with him during the got out of jail kissing her forehead scene. That’s considered the most loving kiss given to a girl by a 君子. Men and women are not supposed to touch each other in that culture. He got away with being a brother and touched FL quite a few times …

Just watched this drama. Liked all characters. I am happy for the ML and FL together. The SML is too weak and considered a mama’s boy. The ML is considered a straight forward, upright, and decisive man, also a nerd in an Asian way with no lovey dovey attitude. This kind of men is well respected and considered heroes, do anything for righteousness instead of by emotions. In a way, this drama portrays a political propaganda for Chinese citizens to do the right things and not be selfish, focusing on love life!!!!
I found the chemistry between both main leads is very normal. Kissing is not common among Asian dramas, depending on the TV broadcasting geographic area. I grew up never saw my parent kiss each other in front of the kids.
Obviously, romance is less of a focus in the story line, the wrong must be punished by the right people and people must obey rules.

This is a pretty good show since Love Like the Galaxy. It is satisfying to see many stories in this show that are mostly logical and both leads are great in their own ways. The FL does not have stupid actions or becomes less than the ML. It is a very good script and so happy to watch this: Filial family matters, love stories, scheming for power, little 3rd light bulb effect between the leads, and fighting actions. I would give close to a 9.
