Pleasantly surprised.
Based on it's summary and premise I was expecting a lightweight comedy full of tropes. But this series has a surprising amount of depth. It's not your typical romcom that we've all seen 30 times before. There are some twists. The side characters are well developed and the B story works too. There's also a lot of discussion about the difficulties in relationships, which ones are surmountable, and which ones aren't (while still being entertaining and fun to watch). It treats the characters like grown-ups instead of tropes. Worth a watch.
