your comment has a sarcastic tone which i don't think it's suitable for this forum. The people here are just worried that because the popularity of a previously support role character (don't forget it was like this before the acquired fame of a certain someone), the drama producers decided to change the story completely. that's all...we want Darren Wang and Li Qin (and it was obviously that he will get the girl from the trailer and all the pics released). the problem with a certain someone's fans it's that you are too easily offended.

If they changed the maled lead or Xiao Zhan gets the girl, then i am done with this drama. I will not watch it at all. This would be a very low move and Darren Wang really doesn't deserve this.

Wow..definitely the best chinese xianxia drama ever made! It really surpassed TMOPB. My only complaint is that they could have made the mortal arc shorter, not so draggy. But overall, it was worth investing 3 days of binge watching and lack of sleep

Finally someone that thinks like me..i thought i am the only one :)) i just couldn't finish that drama and i wanted it so much :)) but i will stop here..the untamed community is really scarry :))

this is so sad...imagine if all this regulations didn't exist, what an amazing content these wonderful and very talented people would create :( very sad indeed :(

Noo, you didn't offend me, of course not :) i admit i would have liked a plot almost the same as in the book, but since this wasn t possible, i will stick with the anime and audiobook. Thank you for stating your opinion :)

I have to admit i love the OST though. Amazing songs that fit perfectly within the plot. Kudos to whoever created this awsome ost. They did it wonderfully :)

I will finish it though, because i really want to see how the drama unfolds :) maybe it will get better. One thing i enjoy though a lot...the OST. Amazing music, one of the best i have heard in a drama. Especially wangxian and shijie' s song <3

Exactly my point! I understand that because of the tight censure they couldn t follow the plot 100% but still...this was the charm of the novel. The writer used the elements of chinese mythology to create a masterpiece. Unfortunately all this is lost in the drama, which is so sad. This coupled with the cringy GCI made me not enjoy the drama like i wanted to.

I have read the novel 2 times already, all the extras, including the steamy scenes, so i don't confuse the novel or the drama :)) The GCI is really one of the worst i have seen in a drama. Yes, true, the meaning remains the same, but it doesn t have the same charm like in the novel..at least for me. And i don t find the drama so emotional as the book. Between the drama and the anime, i prefer anime better. I will continue to watch the drama..maybe i will change my opinion about it :)

Unpopular opinion...i just can't seem to like the drama. The GCI is so cheap that it makes me cringe. And whyyy, whyy they changed the story so much?? I don't want gay scenes, but why they introduced the stupid yin metal, and all the other changes, when the novel was perfection. I stoped around ep 20 and i am debating whether should i continue or not. It breaks my heart to see they did this to the drama.

I think though that more people would have watched the drama if they had uploaded subs for every episode they released. I don't like this hunger for money.
