For me a big thing that plays a part in getting SLS is when the second male lead is someone who doesn’t force or try to control the FL but is someone who she can just be herself around and he is respectful. I also hate it when it is made clear that the FL is turning down the SML but he doesn’t get it. Some shows where I never got SLS are Angels Last Mission: Love, Pinocchio, Lovers of the Red Sky, and I am not a Robot

EXACTLY that remains possibly the biggest case of SLS for me to day, Baekhyun In Ho and Seol were literally perfect for each other even though they were imperfect people. I still tear up thinking about them running in the rain or when she gives him the piano book like that was love, pure and simple. But the ML was a legit psycho and I will never understand why she chose him in a million years.
