It's okay, we skipped 3 months and his hair has grown back LOLThe time jump was necessary for the hair growth…
Oh no, don't get me wrong omg I am legit constantly thinking about their struggles...like every second of each episode. I can't imagine what these two kiddos must be going through. It breaks my heart.
Also, the three month time-jump did not change their struggles plot. Actually, it got more intense because of her tuition. However, their relationship has improved - which is nice to see!
yes, haters per usual 🙄take these ratings with a grain of salt
Yet, there are some dramas that I think are just okay with insane high ratings...and I just don't get it. Like I am glad people are enjoying the dramas that they are enjoying but it's weird when a good popular drama like this one just immediately gets anything below an 8 rating.
Also, it's funny because I never go out of my way to give bad ratings to dramas LOL; if I don't like a drama, I will usually drop it and move on, but like never come onto MDL to give it a bad rating LOL so that says more about them than anything.
So in ep. 2 - what did the father do to him? Did he hit him or possibly worse?
I believe his dad electrocuted him or something like that (more than once obvsly). That is why he is so afraid of electricity - we see that scene where they were on bumper cars at the amusement park, and he keeps looking up and looks frightened. Also, he was twitching when the FL was feeding him soup. That is because he is being abused (electrocuted) by his dad. Beyond disgusting.
Both, but mainly it focuses on their time as teenagers and in/out school...this is for about 65-70% of the drama. And then it focuses on their "working" life and adult life at around episode 20...and focuses on this for the remainder of the drama (about 35%).
However, the girl works throughout the entire drama, even as a teenager.
okay so I have some thoughts after finally catching up and I hope y'all don't mind if I share them with you all here:
1. I did not like that he started "dating" some random girl after only one month of their breakup. I am not too sure what he expected nor what we expected. I get that he was looking for a distraction and was being erratic in his decision-making, but that is not an excuse to randomly agree to date some girl - it is unfair to the random girl, to Zhou Wan, and to himself!!! 2. It is crazy to me that he didn't go check her house to see if she was still there...to idk talk???...but I get why maybe he didn't go because either she already packed up and left or he didn't want to chase after her because he was heartbroken, resentful, and felt betrayed. 3. Him forcing her to move into his house, live with him, sleep on the same bed as him, make him food, be his work assistant, etc, etc, etc....its all just so messy and immature. It is so childish. You'd think that after 10 years, one would learn how to be more mature but his actions towards her are sooo questionable. It is concerning because y'all, their relationship is so toxic. It always has been, hasn't it? But his actions as an ADULT are so questionable and sad to see honestly. It is making me uncomfortable that Zhou Wan is going along with this too. I hoped she would set the record straight at this point and not allow their relationship to become toxic again or I guess more toxic....
Of course, I want them to have their happy ending but this whole guilt/control dynamic between the two is toxic and unnecessary. They should just TALK. Just have conversations PLEASE. JUST COMMUNICATE!!! WHY IS THAT SO HARD??!!! I get that it creates drama and this is just a drama but y'all this relationship is not be idealized, okay?
Side note: the 2nd ML is so annoying. It is so weird that he is still stuck up on her, even after 10 years. So lame. Dude, move on and get out.

The time jump was necessary for the hair growth plot eh
I did indeed scroll down and I've found more details - I guess they are both toxic. I am happy with the changes to the characters thus far.

I bet the father feels better abusing him by thinking that he isn't his biological son lol.

It's so good - are people just hating? Y'all we need to fix this.
However, the girl works throughout the entire drama, even as a teenager.
