Couldn't agree more! I'm actually quite annoyed with this drama cause it had all the ingredients to be spectacular,…
Oh that is such a good quote and so important to remember! Lately, been watching more c-dramas and the fact everyone in it is stick thin has started to make me obsess over my weight as well. It really is true that what we consume affects our minds. I don't remember feeling this way when I watched more kdramas even though the beauty standards are impossibly high there too but I think the OTT plastic surgery/anorexia is far less subtle in cdramas.
So I have to be careful in managing my thoughts around this as well. And I'm a grown adult, I can't imagine what these thoughts do to young young girls watching these dramas too. I love dramaland but there are serious issues I wish it would address- one being stop making their talents be unhealthily skinny and reliant on plastic surgery.
Starting off strong but then became bland with too much focus on the plot of the brother and lost it's tone. It's an ok watch but unless there is a second season (which I don't see happening?) it falls short. I don't understand why they made it unnecessarily complicated towards the end..... they could have just stuck to this season and ended it really well.
Just wanna add an observation- unlike cdramas, kdramas rarely get a secondary couples right. It's almost OTT and nonsensical like it is in this drama. There are exceptions of course but usually they they are more miss than hit.
Sorry but this is so badly written and executed that I feel bad for the cast. Like I have seen these actors elsewhere and they are normally great but this drama just...no. I forced myself to ep 9 and even though there are only 3 eps left I can't even be bothered to finish it. It feels like the leads never get together, there's waaayyyyyyyy too much screen time for the second couple who I stopped caring for around ep 3 and so much misplaced comedy.
Also c'mon its 2022- why are we still expected to believe someone can get stabbed, be bleeding for hours in to the next day and still be able to fight (note: not even just survive but actually fight).
This feels like a script written in 2000 met a director who is stuck in the 2000s and not in a fun nostalgic way either.
Indeed, I was searching drama with plot someone from the past time travelled to the future. However it is so rare.…
oo.. i don't think so. The only other one that comes to mind is Love Through a Millennium which is the cdrama adaptation of Queen In-Hyun's Man (kdrama). I never got around to watching it because people said it wasn't as good as the original.
Most cdramas the characters always travel back into time I guess cause it's more fun to write about!
This was weird.......I couldn't get into the game aspect of it- so were they just chatting and her "entering the game" was just for us visually? It was so weird and random. And agree with the posters below- she seemed to have broken up with him for very silly reasons since she never communicated once what the problem was in their relationship (are we supposed to buy that? they aren't even in their tweens!). Would not really recommend.
This was so well done! It's well written, well produced and well acted. For a short series this is better than some long format dramas. Even though each episode was only 5 mins, the writer still managed to develop the characters and make it interesting. I like that for once the ML goes into the modern world, too many dramas these days are about the FL going back in time.
I only wish there were more kiss scenes in this but overall the romance was also pretty good and for once not all over the place and sudden. A common issue with short series is the lack of continuity and logic which this series doesn't really suffer too much from.
It's a really good way to spend 2+ hours! Full version is on YT for those wondering.
Terrible terrible acting, script and editing. Who added those sound effects? They should be fired. And the script is just boring with nothing happening. You are dealing with the Xinxia world and do nothing with it as a writer! Sad cause I was looking forward to this short series. Do not waste your time on this one.
Agreed. Kpop idols are the one who cant date openly or their fans will come at the girlfriend or leave the fandom.…
YUPPPPPPPP. I mean I still listen to whomever I like, but really in East Asia, the para-social relationship companies force their artists to build with their fans is creepy to say the least. And I can totally understand that as a young fan it's easy to get completely sucked into it and become possessive.

Yeah the V and Jenny rumours are really bringing out the toxic armys. And the fact that someone hacked into Jenny's icloud and is slowly releasing her private photos is so sickening. Man just leave them alone- they are super cute together and look happy. We don't need the details of their relationship and their private photos. I wish more fans would just not chase after paparazzi news.
I just read about the PMY scandal and although the guy seems shady- I find it so appalling people are telling her whom she can date and can't. Like if they are abusive ofcourse I would be protective of my favs but beyond that there's no need pressure these celebs!

100% agreed. And I have said it before here and I will say it again a lot of the fault lies in companies playing up the idea that the idol/actor only belongs to the fans. We need to have more healthy fandoms for our favs so they don't get depressed and exhausted. Like for me BTS makes me feel comforted so I would hate for them to not be able to feel that because of these arbitrary rules placed on them by "fans" who live in these delusions that "oppar is only mines".
good for them. all k/c actors should be open about their relationships and not have to worry about this nonsensical "value" as a celebrity dropping. Off tangent but I feel so bad for the BTS boys and the immense pressure they must have to keep pretending they only live for their fans. I'm an Army (obvs) but I want them to be in happy healthy relationships if they want to be, not hide because their company/ksociety/toxic army's make them that way.

Cute and good script for a short series. I do wish the FL had more umph in her character. She was too blase and uninteresting. In contrast the 2FL was more fun and I liked her love line more. The 2 male leads were good too. Ok to wathc tot pass time but it is a tad boring because the FL is written in such a boring manner.
Found this really boring and the FL's script/actions to be so incoherent. First she's all about wanting to save him, constantly forgets that's her goal, then is so mean to her best friend (who is really sweet) all the time. I don't blame the actress but her character is so unlikable. I forced myself to watch till 23 with a lot of FFWd (which is bad enough to do in a 10 min eps drama) but even then it was soooo boring.
Also didn't find the chemistry between the main leads that great. Waste of a good premise with terrible pacing, script and acting.

It made me cringe every time those sound effects were added. >.<
