or they do a time skip , thats my problem with kdramas, time skips, shows that drag out too long, random deaths…
Yes and time jumps are the worst trope because most of the time they aren't needed and are just added for unnecessary angst. So many great dramas have been destroyed for me because of the useless time jump.
MINI SPOILER FOR LOVE LIKE THE GALAXY: . . . the time jump they did that lasted 5 eps was ridiculous and made me drop the rating for the drama. It didn't match any of the leads temperaments/growth and it was such a disastrous and pointless addition to the show. Really ruined an otherwise flawless drama for me.
I am moving my videos to here: https://streamsb.net/fld/ej2hk4ef93 It will be easier for me to upload my subs…
Thank you for taking all the time to sub! but I just want to know if you have taken down some episodes? when I click on the link I can't find some eps like ep 2, 11-13. Regardless, bless you for subbing!
Hard to judge this season on it's own since it ended so abruptly. But the production was good and it was actually hilarious in the middle part (usually when a story starts waning). Hope they make a second season!
Did you end up finish watching it? I think like the other commenter she was different from her sisters, a more rational character and she always felt guilty for all the love she received. To me her character was one that couldn't express her love as easily as her sisters did but she does love and worry about them in her own way.
TBF to the character I think halfway through the writer/director forgot about the two young girls. So you don't get to see much development from them. I think if they had spent a little more time on In-Hye she could have been someone who could have had a lot more growth rather than just being a catalyst for the older sisters situations.
I really ended up liking this more than I thought I would. I think it's probably because I read comments and expected a lot of makjang so I wasn't thrown off by where the story went and how OTT the characters would act. It was a plot that was intriguing yet one you shouldn't pay close attention to because this is allll about the dramatics! If you go in with that in mind you won't be spending your time questioning why some characters/situations are the way they are.
I thought this had Go Eun's best acting so far. I wish they had more scenes of the sisters together to show us their bond a little bit more, but it's only 12 eps so it had to move fast. I also am glad this was only 12 eps because it would have become wayy too nonsensical if it continued beyond that.
There are plot holes, things that fall easily into the main characters laps, a lot of right time right place but overall it's a nice makjang story, that had a pretty good cast. Worth the watch when you are in the mood for dramatics.
LOLLL I'm laughing every ep.it's like a Parent Trap (movie) and Sister Sister (TV show) crossoveralso production…
I agree, the poster made me not want to watch it. It wasn't what I would call a good drama but it's a fun one for watching before bedtime... it's quick... so you don't stay up all night to finish it. But the poster made it look like it was shot in the early 2000s.
Like a quick low budget Parent Trap. It's cute but badly acted. Should have been 16 eps at least so the first half wouldn't feel so weird and rushed (even for short drama). Didn't see the main leads connect much with the children because of that and they just didn't feel like parents.
BUT THE KID IS SO CUTE OMG. I just was watching for his adorable scenes! And he did his dual role so well!
Decent, was a fun concept short series. I think the FL has a long way to go to become a better actress, a lot of scenes fell flat for her and Cavan was doing all the heavy lifting.
Pretty decent for 2 min eps. A domineering FL paired with a naive ML with a secret. Don't think too hard about the poison aspect and it's a quick fun watch. Endings are better than most short series even though it was more than a little abrupt.
YESS MY BOYSSSS!! I am both proud and sad they are going for enlistment. I hope they stay safe, they are protected and happy during their 2 years there. They told us to trust them that they will be back in 2025 and I am sure they will.
Also hope SK government stops using them to play politics and keep making money off them as if they are products and not humans >:(
Also also (lol!) - everyone should go and watch RUN BTS episodes if you want a pick me up - even if you are not an army. They are just so wholesome and fun to watch, the members have a lot of love and understanding for each other and it just such a stress relieving watch!
Personally don't think they should make season 3. I think everything that could have been done was already done - esp since there's a bit of repetitiveness from the first season, but most viewers won't mind that because it's been so long since season 1 and the leads are so great together. But if there's a season 3 of the same story line I feel like it will make the franchise a bit boring.
So cute! What's great about this season is you don't need to waste time being introduced to the characters so you can straight away jump in to the romance. This first half I thought was funnier than the first season, I was laughing a lot. I did think the leads had better kiss scenes in the first season though, but they still had overall great chemistry in this season. In both seasons I have to say the leads are one of the few on-screen couples that really feel like a couple. They hug, hold hands, give each other pecks- and I'm grateful they were able to be comfortable enough to have that kind of presence on screen (esp considering Bie is married). They really don't hold back on the physical affection (and by that I mean not just kisses) - which is really nice to see!
Also the addition of the storyline actress of Xiabao was such a great idea! She was so cute in her role. I totally loved her and her relationship with Xiaoqi too!
It's just such a cheerful, pink-pink, lighthearted fluff drama to forget all about your worries. This is a turn off- tune in and enjoy the romcom (heavy on the com too!) drama. If you liked season 1 you will end up falling in love with season 2!
A pretty healthy and non-toxic relationship, the leads were everything that held this drama together. They had great script (esp in the beginning) and chemistry. Everything else was bit bland from the secondary couple to the direction of the show. I feel like, others, this had more potential. I think partly the title/trailer were a little misleading. I was expecting a ML like Dongfang Qingchang from LBFAD since the ML is supposedly a bad boy/villainous character.
Also I think the plot was supposed to be more dramatic than the direction of the drama. It felt like the writer was trying to do one thing, and the director the complete opposite. There was very little "drama" in this - and I don't mean the unnecessary toxicity that are prevalent in cdramas- but rather the dramatics needed to pull off a fantasy story like this. It did drag from ep 16-22 for me and I was skipping a lot because of how bland everything was. Even their love didn't feel "unforgettable".
Overall I would still say this is a cute light fluffy watch with great romance from the leads, but go in expecting a very soft drama that tries to be more slice of life than fantasy which is its ultimate downfall.
