Wow, some of the people who have commented below should really be ashamed of themselves. He's so good looking…
"I sincerely hope that the people on here who know any rape victims in real life aren't spewing the same crap at them."
- This was honestly a real concern of mine when reading these comments, I really hope they don't go around saying these things out loud because I can only imagine how triggering this would be for survivors!
Wow, some of the people who have commented below should really be ashamed of themselves. He's so good looking so he'll never resort to rape? Where do people even get that logic from? Rape can happen anywhere by anyone, often by those you least suspect. I'm not commenting on this case, but just the fact that people are making those comments here, even if in jest. Rape is hardly about lust, and mostly about power, and I'm sorry but those comments are disgustingly offensive to rape survivors.
People need to stop with those kind of statements, it perpetuates the myth that all rapists are scary men who are waiting in dark alleys for unsuspecting victims, when the truth is far far off. Please stop saying things like "he's too good looking to have raped her". No matter what the outcome of the case, or how much you love the accused, to make light of rape accusations is shameful at best, dangerous at its worst.
