I went back and found the cast wearing something like saris for that scene. The writers until now (ep 2), have done a not so appreciable job with the characters and some of the plot, their depiction caste or Arabs with swords doesn’t even register with my head.

So the ML’s character could be not completely vegan, but prefers vegan food. I thought it might be a slip up on part of the writers. Thanks!

Is the ML supposed to be a vegan? He complains about how a client’s product is not vegan, eats salad, asks for eggplant and a tofu dish. Then proceeds to eat an egg, did he think eggs grow on eggplant? 🤔

Also, ML talks of sexual/ workplace harassment either pretty light heartedly or is dumb to see every situation until now as harassment.

Caste in this context doesn’t mean the traditional Indian class system, but a class system. Korea had something similar, like royalty, commoners, slaves, etc.
