ahh... not intended as a joke, I just enjoyed that anime series way too much for anything to ever compare to... Signal comes the closes amongst all other Asian shows I have seen when it comes to a time-slip and time travel concept...
And btw I loved Kairos... till haven't watched Times, so I cannot give this article a fair response
I absolutely loved Graceful Friends, tho it wasn't really about rich families. but what I loved was the interaction between the families, especially when it was warm and healing moments between the wives, or fun moments between the guys. I had already watched Sky Castle, The World of Married before and Penthouse recently. Tbh, I enjoyed the thrill quite a lot and they did get me curious about how the plot will develop, but there wasn't much of a relatable character and the relationships weren't really the heartwarming type, instead full of spite and unnecessary hate. I could only find a few character to like, and they even killed off those I liked!
You do have a great taste :D I loved Der My Friends and I am absolutely obsessed with My Mister. Did you watch…
Haha yeah you're quite right about that, most of the stuff you have watched are either in my PTW list or stuff I also watched, vise versa probably. It's such a delight. and thanks for the link, will be sure to check it out when I'm in for a disaster movie, I have a feeling someone else also mentioned how they watched a very sad movie and I'm almost certain they were talking about Pandora from it's synopsis and it's poster as hints.

Owwhh that sounds like a very sad movie.. I will put it in my list. I am a big fan of movies where it's themed around survival and coping with disasters... realistic take and a positive message for the future after all the suffering and sacrifices the characters go through, is sometimes all I need from those movies to to enjoy it and call it an amazing one. The last movie I enjoyed so much even tho it was a sad one was 'Us and Them' and I liked how it tried to be so realistic with so much color and depth in it. [funny fact it didn't have much color as in what's on screen and seen, since almost half of the movie was shot in grayscale]

Oh that sounds like such a sad development for the story and the characters. I will definitely watch it and quite sure I'll enjoy it a lot, since I do like heavy drama with strong feelings such as heartbreak and relatable sad situations. It usually has bigger impact, and I don't know for everyone but I usually feel like crying at the most joyful and bright, nostalgic moments... when the characters overcome crisis and share a moment of happiness, that's what bring out my tears the most. (tho it's happy ones :)))

Oh I feel the same way about the reply series, 1988 is as great as a masterpiece but I'm enjoying the unfolding of Reply 1997 lately, I mean the story about who ended up with whom in the 2nd half.
I'm sorry I meant compliment earlier but It came out as complain, it was a mistake.
And yeah both are also on my list, but again I heard Something in the Rain is also very similar to One Spring Night, and that's why I'm planning towatch SITR before getting into One Spring Night, did you perhaps also watch them both and in that manner ? or just One Spring Night?
You do have a great taste :D I loved Der My Friends and I am absolutely obsessed with My Mister. Did you watch…
And btw thank, you for the complain earlier, I see you too have great taste, you probably may also want to watch 18 Again. It was an amazing Life Drama for me, and I was heavily impacted through it really. It deals with family theme in general, the kind of story that always hits me!

Actually, it's on top of my Slice of Life drama list, Currently watching Reply 1997 and I'm planning to start that one once I'm done with the reply series. I have a habit of watching many drama at once, but only one or two from a specific genre so I don't face many similar plot lines or troupes at the same time.
I totally loved the idea, and I'm the biggest fan of this genre, so I can't appreciate you enough. I have watched reply series and planning to watch A Poem A Day too very soon, I'm already in love with the amazing songs used in the drama.
Btw I recommend (My Mister, Age of Youth, The Light in Your Eyes and Dear My Friends as well as they are very well written dramas with interesting plot-lines, especially My Mister, it's a gem of heavy slice of life... definitely something worth your every second!
Yes the last thriller I loved was Flower of Evil and after that I didn't found which really was thriller for me,…
Oh I can relate as I also put on hold many dramas when I'm not in the mood enough to continue them and just pick them up randomly whenever I feel like to watch them again!
Thanks for including Moon Chae Won, even if she’s not on the list. Thanks for including Painter of the Wind…
Oh I'm very happy you came across my article and enjoyed reading it! I love Moon Chae Won's acting just so much, she is such a versatile actress who gets into her roles so much you almost feel like she is not acting and just experiencing it herself!
About those works I didn't mention, I'm very sorry for the letdown there, I haven't actually seen them or if I did and knew they were such great roles I would include it. Especially for Ha Ji Won, since she is one of my favorite actresses of all time, I would include the work that gave her Daesang, I'll put it in my my plan to watch now I know! Thanks for the tips.
Kim Yoo Jung lately became one of the actresses I adore and didn't know she did so many amazing works even as a kid actress. so I was planning to go through her works soon hopefully and see for myself how amazing she had been! can't wait to see her acting those difficult scenes.

Yea, Flower of Evil was phenomenal and even tho it was more melodrama than thriller, I totally enjoyed every second of the ride! and the character development there was insane, I couldn't ask for anything better! It's very hard to find something as good as Flower of Evil, but you may want to pick up Signal again, it has a lot of build up and the first few episodes doesn't stand out a lot by themselves, but after getting through it mid way and the events unfold clear, you will be amazed how those earlier episodes were all planned with so much detail and foreshadowing. I saw you dropped and that's why I commented on Signal.
Becoming one of my favorite drama of all time, along Flower of Evil and My Mister. and this is by far the best psychological-thriller drama I have ever seen. Even 'Signal' with it's phenomenal time travel integrated concept (Which is something I love immensely) wasn't as intriguing as 'Beyond Evil' to me, This one is just mind-blowing top-tier!
Me too ^_^ I also loved watching When the Camellia Blooms!
It was such an amazing and heartwarming drama, right? I adored Kang Ha Neul and Gong Hyo Jin's performance! really all the actors did stellar performances!
Will do, actually I wanted before watching 18 Again, but never knew that they had similar stories till I finished 18 Again and that's why I want to wait a while before watching something with similar plot-line. I absolutely loved 18 Again so from what I have heard, Go Back Couple must be amazing too!
[My Mister] may not be as much a family drama as those mentioned, But it's still have a great deal of filial piety, love and caring about one's closest family, and a neighborhood who is warm and supportive as much as a real family.
Other family dramas I absolutely adore, are [18 Again] [Reply 1988] [Reply 1997] [Ugly Alert] [Dear My Friends] [Flower of Evil] [When the Camellia Blooms] [The Light in Your Eyes]
And currently watching but loving: [Once Again] [ Smile, You]
"anone" is a Japanese drama tho, but I really wanted to mention here as well, as it was an incredibly beautiful story in my honest opinion.
OH GOD! This is so disappointing... I had my hopes high again and yeah they even have similar names to confuse us more... maybe I'll sill try this since it's interesting how those two faces and two names look so similar. It's really interesting.
