This is literally the most c-drama like k-drama I’ve ever seen (the trailer of). The title change from Bloody Romance to this, the poster, the production of stuffing the craziest things with subpar detailing in the smallest time, 35 minute runtime per episode.

He deserves all the main leads now! He is suchh a good actor. An absolute delight to watch on screen.

Aaaand the whole point of my comment was that it’s impossible not to do so if you have watched the original first. I am not questioning people who enjoyed this. More power to you if you did. After all the story is a 10/10. Even a shoddy adaptation can only ruin it so much.

It does give some slight Go Back Couple feels honestly.

I’m pretty sure it wasn’t the whole truth when Yi Chan told Eun Gyeol that. Or maybe he never noticed Chung Ah before the sign language class and Chung Ah has a bunch of her own secrets that she never revealed including her own love at first sight for Yi Chan, only
that her’s was wayy before the said signing class.

You’re not wrong. But as a SDOOD enjoyer, it honestly sucked to see your favourite show being reduced to this. All my favourite SDOOD scenes which hit an emotional impact of 10, barely managed an emotional impact of 6 in this korean version. It saddened me to no end :(

Wang Quan Sheng was actually gay and the way they handled that was one of the most amazing snippets of the story.

Exactly! They specifically mentioned how their mortal life character reflects their real, immortal character. Which means he is clearly just as scheming and vile in his real immortal life. His affection for the FL doesn’t absolve him of his crimes.

As I understand it, he wasn’t rich was the exact reason why he was excused from military training. After his dad passed away and his mother had no means of making money, he became the sole breadwinner for his family, even quitting uni to make money.
