it’s such a beautiful detail because if we base it off the novel, the drama actually ended in ji xing’s dream (when ji xing was on the bike and han ting was on the car with han ting saying “i love you” to ji xing, that was all part of ji xing’s dreams). and we all know han ting infamously said that love can only be concluded when the coffin is already closed (non-verbatim), and at that time, han ting has already passed away for more than a month. it means he already concluded that he did love ji xing. and in that sleep, ji xing also passed away. and after that, they probably reunited again in paradise. i’m going to cry, bye.

it’s so surreal to have watched them get into a minor accident on the first episode, not doing anything for a whole day other than waiting for new episodes to drop, waiting every single day for a) yichen and ji xing to break up, b) ji xing’s birthday, c) the argument, d) the reunion in germany, e) for zho houyu to kidnap ji xing, and now they’re married, had kids, and truly loved each other to death.
i bawled my eyes out.
it’s a perfect modern drama.
dahuang wasn’t shown in the last and special episodes anymore, but he’s always in our hearts. 💗 they were ji xing and han ting’s first baby.
props to tang song, lu jinjia, and xiao yixiao for being there for han ting thru romantic and devastating moments. li li, tu xiaomeng, and ji xing are the best trio who always got each others’ back.
after all those hiding-their-feelings, hardships, and sweet moments they went through, the last and special episodes are such a relief.
i can’t stop my tears when han ting used the forgiveness card in his last moments.

100% agree to this!! on where the both parties personally stand, they’re both correct and rational. for ji xing, after the shocking revelation, she felt that suddenly han ting is doing whatever he wants with xingchen. exchanging stocks so he could be the major shareholder then planning to give everything back to her in the fight scene. it was tough for her because she felt like it’s so easy for han ting to do anything with xingchen. and for han ting, obviously what he’s doing is what’s BEST for the companies. the only problem here really is the communication. han ting made moves without telling ji xing and also the thing about hanhai in the first place, but ji xing also when to chang he without even talking to han ting about anything.
at the end of the day, as viewers, it’s easy for us to rationalize and critique whatever they’re doing because we know everything, but obviously han ting and ji xing have to act without any grasp on each other’s thoughts. it’s easier to enjoy this drama if we just watch instead of taking sides tbh lol they did wrong and right things but that’s the only way they’ll learn. we should just anticipate their growth (and the kidnapping scene jk lmao)
