This is kind of like My Girl (2005) with genders reversed, but it is nowhere as funny.

Wasn't it Kawin's mother who was supposed to pick him up from the airport? She texted she's had an accident but he doesn't even ask her whether she's alright and for the whole episode he doesn't even think once about his mother... I found that very strange.

Is the version available on sites like dramacool the uncut one?

Dont judge me, the above two viewpoint are my own personal coping mechanism to quickly forget this drama, because I also cried buckets watching the last minutes of the last episode😭.

1.So, a person meets someone for 49 days (or may be less than that), falls in love, has an intimate encounter once (or may be twice) with them.......and then is unable to forget them for the rest of his life..
Well, this is, after all, a drama.

2. One person has a mother who couldn't really love him with all her heart, he doesn't succeed in his first love, and then he dies in an accident.
Other person's father abandons his family, he falls in love with a ghost who eventually leaves, he goes on to have unfulfilled career ambition because of unjust society and a failed marriage, and then he dies of cancer.....
What was the point of this story ?

I agree. I also thought this was a better episode but surprisingly so many people feel the opposite way.
The episode had some decent conversations. I have seen way slower moving BLs than this so while I realise it's slow i don't find it boring.
It's one of those shows that I don't really look forward to but I do check out when a new episode comes up.

Thanks but the same problem is here as well. After about 13 min, subs are all mistimed.

Has anybody been able to see episode 1 on a free platform with subs timed properly. I have tried MANY but subs are misaligned with the video everywhere.

I don't understand that in the play, Ben was initially asking Phob to just practice lines with him. But by the end, Phob was actually in the play. What happened?

From what I gathered from subtitles, Ben was supposed to act with some guy named 'Win' and the play was based on his and some other guy Nae's story. But the NOVA play is supposedly his and Phob's story.

Well , I am sure we'll get details in later episodes

They clearly had some decent budget.....but they forgot to pay the script writer

The overall tone of this series is so jarring. The cinematography of the long shots and sets is so good but then scenes with actual dialogues are so cringy. Music is so good but the script is bonkers.
This is a classic case of a show that you really want to love but you just can't find any reason to.
Poor Iñaki Torres is trying so hard but failing miserably at saving this show.

Unpopular opinion, but Kay's actions are pretty standard actions that all heroes of many BLs and even straight romances take. They keep pursuing the other person until the other person says yes. And truth be told, Solo himself is quite possessive and aggresive. But we already know that Solo is the main lead of this story and Kay is not. Hence our minds are 'conditioned' to see Solo's actions and dialogues as romantic and Kay's as creepy and stalker-ish.
It's fascinating, really!

I know some people here are of the opinion that we should be grateful that the production team made at least an effort to give us 'some' subtitles but I almost wish they hadn't. At least that way this show would have been picked up by some fansubbers and they would have provided much better subtitles. I feel experience with this series would have been much different then.
