The glee with which Taishin says 'Being a stan is so much fun' makes you realise why stalkers stalk. We know Taishin is the story's lead, so it seems cute but objectively thinking his behaviour is a big red flag. In real life, this kind of a person should be avoided both as a friend or as a romantic partner
On Memory in the Letter May 5, 2024
Even if I ignore the age gap, I still think it's not fair that the makers of the show cast an actor who is in his 30s, but looks like in his 20s, to play the role of someone who is actually in 40s. Atleast Aksorn's father looks like a father. I think they deliberately did not 'age' Kyo/Khiao to make it appear less creepy when he finally meets Aksorn.

The moment you realise that you are getting old because you have no idea what people are talking about 😕. I had to browse articles on Wikipedia, Wattpad and others just to understand why are people so excited about this 'omegaverse' thing and I am still not sure I understand it completely.I just hope this doesn't hamper with my enjoying the show because that alpha smell thing had me scratching my head like anything ☺️

Yes the ML in Rich Man, Poor Woman has prosopagnosia. They're both similar, but in TSLOMS ML's business is established,…
If my memory serves me right the 2012 Japanese drama did not have any prosopagnosia arc, it was 2018 Korean remake where the male lead had this condition

I don't think it's about changing the viewpoint. It's that in many situations we are (consciously or not) less…
Yes, I agree. That could be a reason.
On Be Mine SuperStar Jul 18, 2023
I often have these moments where I get into dilemma while watching certain BL drama scenes. I was smiling and chuckling through the whole 'wet dream' scene in Ep 3. However, some time later it struck me that the same scene with a guy dreaming about a girl would not seem comedic to me at all, it would be rather perverse. There is something about the BL dramas' vibes. It just changes your viewpoint and you don't even realize it.

Yup, that could be one way of looking at it. Although, I may not ascribe it completely to only-child theory, but I agree with how the article explains that Pat has generally lived a lonely life.

Will a kind soul care to explain exactly what was Pat's problem in Ep 9 ?
I am not talking about his response to Jeng's confession. That's debatable but understandable.
I am referring to the scene with his parents. I have watched it twice but still couldn't understand what aspect of his life is making him so unhappy. It didn't seem entirely connected to Jeng, or was it? Am I too immature to not understand it 🤔

Was anybody else's heart ripped out by Jeng's tears ?
I swear I wanted to go into my screen and cuddle him and ask him to forget about Par !

The looks they both gave each other seeing each other dressed in formal suits....🥰

I am quite surprised by how this show is growing on me. In the first episode, I really disapproved of the actor playing Boss Jeng ....he just felt too old for Pat (even though I know he's not). But in ep 3 and 4, everytime he smiled because of Pat, I found myself cheering for him.
This show is actually closer to real life in terms of workplace dynamics (it's still far removed from reality, but closer compared to other BL shows) . And that's why it feels boring because the leads are taking their time in getting close to each other. But as I said, the show grows on you and soon you'll be finding yourself disapproving Pat for not being able to see what a gem of a person hiss boss Jeng is.

how come no one is talking about the soldier (june)... it is not cute, its stalking, harrasment and creepy.
I am giving him benefit of doubt here. He wasn't planning to stalk her. Her neighborhood place came up in his job search. So at this moment he is thinking that destiny is playing a role. How he behaves from here on will determine whether he is creepy or not.

Title True to Love
This show is seriously reminding me of times when my school and college friends went through break up and I as a single person used to feel so frustrated as to why they are depressed (and making others around them depressed) over just one person who doesn't even care about them. Age has made me more understanding but I can really empathize with all those viewers who are feeling frustrated with Bora. I have been that baffled friend/onlooker but all those experiences have taught me that people have a tendency to lose all reason, logic, and sometimes dignity both when they fall in love as well as when they are deprived of that love. As a friend you can only be there for them by their side (like Bora's friend and sister) but don't expect them to behave reasonably.

This may be an unpopular opinion but I think Suho was dealt with unfairly. He was just being a guy of his age , but he did realise his mistake. He made a valid argument when he said that Hye Song wasn't even having a conversation and simply decided to end things without even informing that she's ending things . This was a case of mismatching temperaments of two people. Suho isn't a douchebag, he prioritised staying with his girlfriend, albeit only for an hour, than to go to his friends. His act of telling his friend about her condition was clearly out of immaturity but not due to any evil intention. And the fact that he left his job shows that things do affect him. He is just a guy who needs to grow up and he is willing to do that. But till then he should date someone of his emotional iq.

Right now ep 1-5 are available on kisskh with thaiblfan92 subs
On Destiny Seeker Mar 26, 2023
Thanks to the fansubber (thaiblfan92) for the subs. I realised so many interesting dialogues get missed in the westernised subs provided by streaming platforms. But fansubbers take pain in transliteration of Thai idioms and Wordplay as well.
Sadly this is not the case with many Asian dramas on Netflix and other platforms.

Even slice of life dramas have a central story arc. It's completely missing here. At the end of episode 2 I felt that it would have been better if I had spent that time watching random YouTube shorts. At least that would have been more entertaining.

I didn't quite get this. Dew who meets in the bar is same as Dew whom Mum sees in the apartment?

Or, both Dew and Mum exist in both parallel worlds?

When Win asks Team to call him 'Hia Win', does it have any special meaning or is it similar to how sometimes in Korean dramas men want their girlfriend to address them as 'oppa' ?
