I really liked this drama. The characters are good developed and performed. There were a few surprising moments and a interesting plot (for this genre)

Was it a little repetitive? Yes - however, for me it totally make sense that someone who has a certain prejudice does not change this opinion so easily.

Are the parents awful? Maybe - but during the show also their struggle with life and situation is shown. At a certain point I could ad least comprehend why they behave as they did.

Their story starts in the former season but I did not watch the parent story. They show flashbacks which seem to origin from the parent story so that you get to know all relevant points from there as well
