I am loving the character of the main lead girl here, I love her mannerism LOL. That first scene where a cherry petal came ito her mouth and she spit it, and the last scene where she is lookng for those petal to eat it, I love how they've done that hahaha.
I watched the first episode, and I don't want to rush again and say that this drama will become a gem, but god that was a great way to end the first episode and the girl is a great singer. About the drama, I like how they shot some scenes, it doesnt look mainstream so It is kinda fresh, I love the friendship between suda, kaho and the main lead, they have great chemistry. I can't wait for the next episdode, would love to know where the story is going.
I still don't get this over 18 thing, like you'll only be considered as an adult if you reached this age. To me, age is only a number, if a person already had understanding in his/her surroundings, to me that is already an adult. Sorry for this comment that has no connection with your post XD.
Let Japan do what they want on their drama, they are not forcing you to watch this anyway, and they will not made this for foreign audiences anyway. My take on this is I won't have any high expectation infact in my mind this live action already sucks lol, but I hope my intuition will betray me.
hmm....I also feel the opinion of others, like I don't know why I'm still watching this, I didn't say it's bad but it's not what I hope it would become. That plot twist didn't help at all and I thought that this may be the one that can make this drama great, but no it didn't. There is no problem with the acting it is kinda good to be honest, but this time, I think the problem is the story. It's is unexpected yes but it's too plain IMO, the only thing that showed flashes of brilliance were the quotes, and I wish they have shown more about other characters too. I think Sakamoto-san is not suited to do a romance drama. the title, I still don't know why the title is like that, someday when I recall this love I will surely cry.
Dropped after 1 ep although the girl is charming but the pace is too fast, the main lead is weak and the music is crap. I don't like the vibe of this drama. Thats what happen when you cast an idol to a drama, he will singlehandedly destroy it with his bad acting.
I will say this from a guys perspective....taiyou no uta is the best romantic movie I've seen, The girl who secretly admires the guy is so romantic, she is a night girl and he is a morning boy she cant meet him cause of her condition. Then when they finally meet the setting become gray-ish its like dark meets light and thats the strength of the movie the directing it is superbly done, the silent moments and those instrumental music inserted in a scene where necessary(that makes us feel what the character are feeling). The casting is great too they choose yui who is a fresh and not so experience actress and that's the requirements for that type of character. I wish I can express more on how I love this film.
