I currently watching ozosaki something somehting....it is great....this is my type of drama....I like the acting of the local shimanto guy, he looks like keisuke honda. Did they speak like that in countryside japan??

tegami is also good......reading the synopsis it didnt appear to be a tearjerker, but ending scene is the most emotional I feel in watching asian drama. Also starring yamada takayuki and sawajiri erika, but it is not love story thats why it is great, yamada and erika are the great in serious type genre. IMO those two are the most talented(acting-wise) lead combination in all drama I watched, but they dont have love chemistry in taiyou no uta, thats why it sucked + the script sucks.
I like the movie be with you better....probably because I seen it first....also the music is better in the movie..and acting. Drama is too much fairytail-ish for me.
Also taiyou no uta movie version.......drama is not tearjerker and its not good IMO...movie is better.
I loved this drama, its slow paced, but beautiful and emotional. One of my all time favourites.
