My theory of how he got back. There was a manjurock that had not been discovered from the future that was left in Joseon times and it was identical to the new one he wrote that brought her back. He had the missing page that would fit in other book when found. He probably scoured that cliff area below to find it. All he had to do was wait for solar eclipse with the found book match the missing page and say the words to summon the book taking him to her in tje future.
