Does anyone know how similar the book is to the show so far like percentage-wise?
I know there are a lot of differences since both the book & the show were written by different people at the same time. I heard that P'Lit gave the author bullet points of major plotlines and off she went.
It is pretty early to know, but how similar & different it is to the book?
I just finished watching episode 7 and this is my favorite one so far. It is the most action packed one and gave us so much information.
I am also so surprised that my theory of the stalker & the professor being curse partners is true! OMG! My theory of Professor Wiwat finding a way to "beat" the curse and the stalker being good was also true. I never lost hope in the stalker. Okay, that is a lie, some of his actions were sketchy and made me doubt my theory. I am so stoked to watch the next episode. I am a bit behind on the show lately as I am also doing episode reviews under episode guide, so please no spoilers or hints for episodes 8 & 9.
I wonder if my theory of the professor transferring the curse to someone else by doing sacrifices is also true. The teaser for the next episode is so good! I should have guessed that Day & Night would have different opinions on ending the curse. I didn't expect the car accident for Dream would happen. Now, I can see why Ozone keep having dreams of Night dying is probably because there will be a future altercation with him and some other character (maybe the professor like he betrays him last minute or with Day like they have a physical fight) that would result in his death.
I don't have any predictions for the ending of the show. If I were to guess, I think at least one of them (maybe the professor) will die. I don't see him having a change of heart. Or if he doesn't die, maybe the gang found a way to end the curse once and for all. However, I don't see a happy ending for everyone, so maybe something will come back to bite the professor. That makes a bit sense since I assume he is messing with black magic.
Episode 7 really got me so hyped up! I am just surprised that those theories were right as I created them back in episode 2 or 3 (so very early on). I wasn't sure mine was correct since all of my theories I created for episode 1 were wrong lol. I was so confident on my time loop theory haha.
By the way, I am not bragging in any way. I am just so happy that my theories were right for once.
You’re gonna love the ending, I feel. :) I won’t say any more than that, but I was following the production…
I know what you are talking about lol I was thinking of not following along the production, but I couldn't help myself. I am so excited about the series' ending!
GMMTV really said "why wait for the episode 11 curse when we can just do it now." Especially, since this show only has 10 episodes.
I fear (in a good way) that episode 3 might have more angst than the previous episodes combined since, judging from the teaser, it looks like it will have the scene of Tae getting revenge on Phi in the Renew OST music video (I am trying not to describe the scene too much, so I don't spoil a lot). Next episode might have the restroom scene and the Phi in tears scene (all from the Renew OST).
If what I am saying is true, that means that the Renew OST MV might only have clips from the first 3 (maybe 4) episodes. The first 2 episodes of the show already shown a lot of clips from the official trailer. This means that I have no idea what episodes 4 to 10 consists of. This show is so amazing! I thought it will be predictable (which I don't mind at all if it is since it is a rom-com), but I keep gasping in every scene LOL.
The only thing I am sure of is that this show will have a happy ending because it better will or else we will riot at dawn.
i just started to watch this "new"BL from GMMTV...... only watched the first episode ....first part quite ok when…
The second episode is already out, so you are free to watch it now. Did you watch the second half of the first episode or you only watched the first half?
I agree what we all have different taste. I thought the acting was amazing in this show. I was also impressed with the characters' outfits. To me, this was not tacky at all.
Since the series is based on KristSingto's partnership, I believe Tam broke up with Phi to let him grow in his…
I was thinking that too, but I didn't want to say it for fear, it might be viewed as a spoiler. Then again, they could change some details of their breakup a bit for plot reasons. If this is right, it would be so heartbreaking!
Looking at the Renew music video, it looked like they were fighting before the breakup, so as you said, Tam might be arguing with Phi about job opportunities and their views on it. If Phi got a job opportunity, Tam might be arguing on why he didn't took it. If Tam got an opportunity to study aboard, Phi might be arguing on why he accepted it and is about to leave Thailand.
The black and white transitions before and after every flashback are really annoying. The audience are not too…
Personally, I really love the black and white transitions. I understand why it might be annoying, but for me, I need it as I am not good at knowing when something is a flashback unless there is a time indicator or a filter (but I am picky on color filters). I thought it was a great way to indicate it is the past very quickly as it doesn't take over the entire flashback like a filter would or make us too focused on timeline like a time indicator would.
Just waiting for an appearance from some pink milk now....They had an opportunity in ep2 and it was chocolate!!!…
I think that was an Americano which does refer to SOTUS because Kongpob tends to order that, but don't you worry pink milk is coming soon based on the trailer.
Anybody else notice Tawan living in the iconic KristSingtoTayNewOffGun roomie house in I'm Tee, Me Too?
Same! Well, I didn't notice it myself, but I saw an interview a few weeks ago where Singto or Krist said it is the same set and that they feel very comfortable and are reliving memories.
Jeez louise! This is my first time being this active for a show that just aired and I am surprised that the rating moved that dramatically so fast! From 7.8 to 8.2! Deserved!
There was a scene where it was mentioned no one knows why they broke up. Pai said even the one that got dumped…
Are you referring to my last paragraph where I said I wonder why do Pathaphi & Taw hate each other? Oops I meant Tae (Aou's character) lol I accidently hit the w key rather than the e key.
I just finished rewatching episode 1 for the million times lol and I noticed some things I didn't saw before.
First off, it is that Tae definitely knows that he is on air. A lot of people have said this already since he is going to be the antagonist, so people find him sus and suspected him & his team purposefully caused the broadcast to have an error and kept on filming. I agree fully with this theory. However, I saw something that I haven't seen anyone pointed it out yet. After Tae walked around the desk and before he took off his jacket, one of the crew members whispered-yelled to him "Hey Tae" and pointed at the board, showing they were live. This means that Tae knew he was live and didn't warn Pathaphi, which makes sense since he doesn't like him. I don't know if him & the crew planned that since the beginning or it was a spur of the moment & the crew was looking out for him.
Another thing is that Pathaphi brought up the fact that he doesn't like him owning Tamtawan something twice. I didn't thought much of it until someone brought it up to my attention. Maybe before they broke up, they had a lot of fights leading up to it and Tamtawan probably said something hurtful to Pathaphi like "you owe me this". For example, if Pathaphi wasn't supportive of Tamtawan studying aboard, Tamtawan probably responded back with "you owe me this. You owe me my dream". Not saying that happened, but he probably said that line to something I don't know yet.
Last thing I saw was the candlestick and flowers in Tamtawan's house. When they flashback to the scene of Tamtawan watching the news, I saw a candlestick and flowers on his dining table looking like he was planning a date or getting ready for one. This makes me think that Tamtawan probably dated some people after Pathaphi, kinda like how Singto had some BL partners after Krist. This is probably not important to the plot, but I just wanted to highlight that if they ever bring up each other's love lives after their break up.
I am really looking forward to the next episode and more. I am hoping we will see flashbacks of them asking each other out, them before they got into their relationship, and why do Pathaphi & Tae hate each other (maybe it is because Pathaphi is a jerk, but I feel like there is something a bit deeper than that) soon in later episodes.
lol then again Japan's weather forecasters tend to go viral, so it might be the same culture as in Thailand? I…
I am a kpop fan, so I received a lot of Korean stuff on my social media feed and sometimes received Japanese stuff for some reason. I have seen reels or shorts on my Instagram & YouTube feed about cute/viral moments about Japan weather forecasters and it is usually the same person: Saya Hiyama.
Saya gained international fame for her quick and professional switch to reporting an earthquake early warning during a live broadcast (the video that I first saw of her). Since then, she has been really popular to the point that her company, Weathernews LiVE, promotes her and their other hosts like idol personalities. It got insane to the point where she took a week off to go to London for her secret boyfriend's tennis match and fans managed to track down her location and found out the secret. Shares for the weather company dropped by 10% due to fans' outrage and betrayal that she is dating someone that isn't them.
She left the company a few months afterward, but is still pretty popular.
There is also a lot of other famous weather forecasters like Yui Komaki, Tsietsi Monare, and others, but she is the most popular. That is why I immediately believe that Pathaphi has a large fanbase since I am used with Japan's news culture along with other countries.
Same! Cooking Crush was okay, but there was way too much comedy and not all of it was good. A good chunk of it feels forced. I was worried that it was going to be like that based on the interviews that Krist & Singto did when they said there is going to be a lot of sweet scenes, but thankfully they just meant sweet as in wholesome rather than funny.
please tell me what shows they were in that makes them "bl fathers"? I'm new.
Ah okay. For Our Skyy season 2, each couple appeared in two episodes. But for Our Skyy season 1 (the season they were in), each couple only appear in one episode (well, besides OffGun as PickRome who was in two).
lol I didn't even notice the mistake with Gun. I saw Gun and I was like hmm where is Off? lol Technically, you are right since Gun did appear in the DVD version of SOTUS S special episode.
I see passions are running wild over this one. And is it any surprise? They are iconic, And set aside all the…
I agree that it is such a strong start. Hopefully, the 10 episodes are enough for this series since the exes-to-lovers trope tends to require a lot of character & relationship development, so I really hope that the 10 episodes are not too short for them. As for the random 180 character turn, to me it makes sense since Tam breaking up with Pathaphi really changed him a lot and broken him down to this angry, hot-headed a**hole, but there is still his old self somewhere in there and only Tam can bring it back. Seeing Tam so suddenly brought back hope & light to Phi's self very quickly. Also, what do you mean by skin-deep? I don't know what that means.
