I don’t like this im gonna dropped. That so called initiation is just bully. Those seniors think that because…
Unfortunately, it depicts the university culture of Thailand in real life. Now, it is not as common due to protests, but back in 2016, it was very common. In fact, the show was based off a book which was looesly based off a real hazer aka Singto (the actor who plays Kongpob). Arthit was based off of Singto.
Anyways, personally, I do not completely hate the SOTUS system since I believe some aespects are needed for the freshman to interact with one another and with their school since college is also about networking. However, it is far from a perfect system since it really depends on who wields that power. To Arthit, he don't think he is bullying anyone since he went through much worse when he was a freshman, so he believes that if he can do it, anyone else can do it. It not only about the age hierarchy, but about the experience hierarchy as well. I like that the show explores the mixed opinions of the freshman regarding the SOTUS system in later episodes. Just in case, if you don't know, the show is not pro-SOTUS system nor anti-SOTUS system, it showcases later on that it really depends on who is holding that power.
This show is so dated … I understand it was a phenomenon when it aired and I wanted to watch it as vintage bl…
Oh really! That's understandable since you are used to the newer stuff. Personally, I really like it because it is so dated lol I personally like the old color grading and the off-video/audio quality. It feels more realistic since in real life, the audio and visual might not be ideal.
Watching SOTUS for the first time. Currently on episode 8. I can't help but want Kong to leave Arthit alone 😅…
To me, it looks like Arthit does want to spend time with him. It is just that he don't want to admit it and put up a guard when they are with people. When they are by themselves, he lets his guard down a bit. He is playing hard to get because he doesn't understand his feelings yet and he is not used to someone hitting on him, but he knows that Kongpob will always be there and he don't want that to stop.
Later on, in the series, when Kongpob stops chasing after him, Arthit chases back. If Arthit does not want to spend time with Konpob, then he would not have returned back at the end of episode 8 nor got angry when he found out that Kongpob wanted to switch majors. With SOTUS, it is all in the little details of the characters' facial expressions and actions. Arthit tends to say something one way, but feels another way. lol I tend to overanalyze the characters, so SOTUS is my jam since a lot of things are hidden in the details, so I felt the spark early on like around episode 2.
I finally got around to watching this because I’d heard so much about it. Loved Singto as Kong - he was perfect.…
There were computers in 1 scene when Kongpob visited Arthit after his lab in his classroom, but yeah I'm very surprised that there was minimal technology.
As for earlier BL series, I heard that Love Sick is good. I never watched it though, so I am not sure. The series was released in 2014 and was the first Thai BL series. It also starred White who later signed as an actor under GMMTV.
I'm sorry but what is a 'BL kiss'? Y'all talk about two gay dudes kissing or dating like it only exists in a genre.
San broke up with Mina by coming out to her days before that, so he is single when he kissed his friend. As for the other guy, I think he is single too.
I saw some scenes that wasn’t on the show. Are there two versions of this show or did they release deleted scenes…
They released the deleted scenes in a playlist on their YouTube channel. I can't provide the link, but search up "studio x+u fragile playlist". The deleted scenes are short videos titled BEHIND.
Y'all I'm convinced that they MIGHT become the FIRST official SWITCH/VERS Couple in Thai BL (although they kinda…
What specific pieces of evidence makes you think that? If they are a switch couple in this drama, that would be so cool! I didn't know that has never been done before. Hopefully, after this drama, it will set a lot of trends like the exes to lovers and the switch dynamic.
Wdym? The Ex-Morning will be out in 2025 and a movie (Nak Rak Mak... Mak Mak) will also be out this year. He will…
Oh okay I thought you meant no new series being released in 2025 rather than given in 2025 since you said "for 2025" instead of "for 2026". I mentioned the movie because even if it is not a series, it is still an acting project. I know that he is not tired of acting and that his works are on hold. I meant that since most of his works are in the romance genre, the "switching acting romantic partners" reason is a huge part, so I mention that rather than the works are on hold since if he wants to work during that time, GMMTV can grant him that wish. I personally don't think it was a marketing campaign because he seemed sincere and the video was released on March 23rd of last year, so before The Ex-Morning was announced. An actor don't have to be in different roles with different people if they don't want to. An actor can still be good at their craft and/or have a good career even if they play the same role and/or working with the same person. I don't know what is in the future with them. I know that Singto is still planning to study aboard (don't know when), but if it is soon like the next 2 years, then maybe he will stick with acting with Krist majority/half of the time.
I'm so hopeful that krist might be leaving gmmtv and joining one31 instead.
Why do you think that? I don't think he will leave GMMTV soon since he said he is very thankful for P'Tha and said in an interview that he will stop acting and work behind the scenes for GMMTV. Also, he gave a lot of effort to get Singto back to the company, so it would be weird if he left before Singto so soon.
I am confused. Why is Krist not in any of the recent new series announced by GMMTV for the year 2024? Like so…
I heard that he got tired of switching acting partners after he filmed Be My Favorite and The Jungle, so he stopped acting for a while last year until Singto came back. The hiatus is also due to GMMTV clearing out schedules for Krist to work with Singto again.
Is he leaving GMMTV or something? Why doesn't he have any dramas for 2024?
I heard that he got tired of switching acting partners, so he stopped acting for a while last year until Singto came back. Even if he wants to stop acting, he can still be under GMMTV as a singer and/or a host. Also, he said he will one day work solely behind the scenes for GMMTV. He will probably stop acting when Singto stops or study aboard. It seems to me that right now he prefers to enjoy his acting career with the people he is used to rather than push himself into new experiences like he did when he was younger.
GMMTV better give him at least two dramas for next year
I don't know if he wants to act in that many dramas next year. I heard that he got tired of switching acting partners, so he stopped acting for a while last year until Singto came back. He said he wants to stop acting one day (don't know when) to work behind the scenes for GMMTV. If he appears in a lot of dramas next year, most of it might be with Singto.
No new series for 2025. I pray this means he will not be renewing his contract, or he'll take on more work outside…
Wdym? The Ex-Morning will be out in 2025 and a movie (Nak Rak Mak... Mak Mak) will also be out this year. He will most likely renew his contract (expires next year) since Singto just came back last year. I heard that he got tired of switching acting partners, so he stopped acting for a while last year. Even if he wants to stop acting, he can still be under GMMTV as a singer and/or a host. Also, he said he will one day work behind the scenes for GMMTV.
