—if the leaked synopsis from last autumn is still true of the current script, then they’re going to feature…
They are talking about this leaked detailed plot summary from a few months ago:
“Pathaphi or Phi is a famous news anchor of Good Day Thailand. He is a rising star in journalism. With his bright and lively personality, he is beloved by the public. But his life turns upside down when the video of his abusive behaviors towards his co-anchor is leaked to the public. His co-anchor is injured in the incident.
From a rising star, he turns into a falling star. Pathaphi is suspended from work. He has to sell his luxurious car. He tries to get a job at other news agencies but no one wants to work with him. Due to a trauma, he has a panic attack and is unable to do a live news report from the field. Luckily, he still has Young, an exclusive news editor who has adored and been close with him since he was an intern. Young gives Pathaphi a chance to work with a talented producer who holds an overseas degree on a new show. Pathaphi feels blessed for the second chance that he gets. He is relieved that at least a good thing comes out of this turmoil. But as soon as he meets the producer, he is not sure if this chance is really a blessing. The producer is Tamtawan, his ex-boyfriend.
Their breakup was so terrible that Pathaphi developed an anxiety disorder after that. He still suffers from it even now. He knows that the person who is supposed to be his savior can end his career for good. Pathaphi and Tamtawan were dating when they were in college. Tamtawan was his senior at the faculty of journalism. They were competing in everything they did. However, they had a promise that Tamtawan would support Pathapi’s dream to be a news reporter. On the day that Pathaphi had an audition for a news reporter position at a major news agency. In the audition, he needed to give a live field report and the judges would watch it. While he was reporting the news, Tamtawan's breakup message was among the keywords for the news report that the creative sent him. Moreover, his news reporting was interrupted by a group of local mafia. His news reporting ended in a disaster. He was eliminated.
Pathaphi wanted to know the reason why Tamtawan broke up with him. But the truth he found out that Tamtawan stole his critique of journalism and used it to apply for a scholarship at an overseas university. He was accepted to the university because of Pathapi’s work. Tamtawan decided to dump him. Pathaphi worked hard and achieved his dream of being a news reporter. He loathes Tamtawan more than anything in this world. But now he is so desperate that he has no other choice but to work with Tamtawan under one condition. Tamtawan needs to help him regain his followers. He must have ten million followers in the next three months. If Tamtawan fails, he needs to resign from the news agency. If Tamtawan refuses his offer, Pathapi will expose that he stole his work which helped him get his scholarship. Tamtawan dislikes Pathaphi but he thinks his offer is challenging and interesting. He accepts his offer but also has a condition. If Tamtawan successfully helps him regain his followers, he needs to apologize to him and call him "Master" for three months.
Pathaphi and Tamtawan work together as a news reporter and a producer. Their past has a major influence on the dynamic of their current relationship. Though they always a way to tease each other, flirting can also be seen between them. As they are chasing the truth, they become close. Physical touches, that accidentally occur while they are working together, reignite the spark between them. Their relationship is like unpredictable weather. It's confusing but also intriguing.
Tamtawan does not come back for his work. He has a hidden mission to help the man he cares for. He comes back to find the mafia who exposed the video that destroyed Pathapi’s reputation and put his life in danger. The ex-lovers need to work together to find the real criminal behind their case and their true feelings for each other. Will the flame in their hearts change them? Will they learn about the change together?”
Do you have another link for the leaked synopsis? I don't have a Tumblr account, so I can't see the picture.
Thank you!
OMG! That synopsis is so interesting like why did Tamtawan betray Pathapi, why does he hate Pathapi, how will they recover from that, and why are they involved with the mafia?! I am really looking forward to the show whether they decide to do this synopsis or change it up. I am also wondering how the "master" will sound like cause that sound a bit funny lol.
I don't know if they did change the senior-junior thing cause in the BTS pictures, it looks like they are in the same year based on the uniforms.
My friends and I have been talking about the synopsis leaked back in October (included in here: https://www.tumblr.com/thebroccolination/764313597978558464/the-leaked-ex-morning-synopsis)…
Do you have another link for the leaked synopsis? I don't have a Tumblr account, so I can't see the picture.
It is in the plot summary, but I will try my best to explain & summarize it to you.
This show focus on our two main leads: Day and Night. They are affected by a curse where every four years, on Leap Day (February 29th), which is also their birthday, the person they love the most will die.
They tried to keep themselves isolated, so that no one gets hurt, but Night gets tangled with a girl named Dream and Day is forced to care for his cousin, Ozone. Over time, close relationships form. As their twentieth birthday approaches, Day and Night's fears for their loved ones increases. Will Dream & Ozone survive or will they be the next victims of the curse?
I can't say more than that since I don't want to give the plot away, but Day & Night must team up together to stop the curse (not a spoiler since it is strongly hinted in the trailer).
I don't know either, the second episode didn't add anything to the series.
Well, it needs to be clear to everyone and help us form an emotional connection with the characters before we start the action again. Plus, showing the bond and how they ended up together is better than just talking about it in 1 direct statement.
It also help us to know how cruel the curse is since 2016 was the first time that the curse killed 2 people (with Day), the first time that the curse killed someone who wasn't family (Joy), and the first time the curse killed without any external force/freak accident in front of them (Joy).
It is also just 1 episode, so we have 10 more episodes where they can freely show more action and plot development.
about aunt and her husband: it's about loved ones dying and i think day just didn't care about him (which considering…
The curse killing the uncle was cruel because the curse knows if he don't kill the uncle, Ozone would never end up with Day and Day would isolate himself since none of his family members would take him in and he would age out of the system by the next leap day. I think the curse (yes I am talking about it like it is a person lol) is smart where it has power to cause mayhem in the current leap day and plan for the next leap day.
I LOVEEE THIS SERIES SO MUCH IT REMINDS ME OF HOME SCHOOL but why do I get the feeling that Day and Night are…
I don't think they are siblings since they were born on the same day 12 hours apart to 2 different mothers. If they have the same mother and for some reason 2 different fathers, it would not make complete sense since the mother needs to die at midnight and at noon. I do agree that they are destined to meet each other due to the curse.
Isn't it only people whom they love? So maybe by the time they hit 12 they were raging against the world and nobody…
You probably know this by now, but just in case if you don't, it is revealed that Day's grandparents died on his 12th birthday (in the trailer) and Night's dog died on his 12th birthday (mentioned last episode).
Also, I think the curse would not allow for them to skip a leap day since right after Joy's death, Dream immediately showed up. The curse also killed both of Ozone's parents to force Ozone to be with Day even though Day was not close with his uncle. If the curse hadn't done that, Day would be alone because he would aged out of the system and have no family members who want to live with him.
I am also wondering the same. and not to mention they didn't sho the 20th birthday as well
You probably know this by now, but just in case if you don't, it is revealed that Day's grandparents died on his 12th birthday (in the trailer) and Night's dog died on his 12th birthday (mentioned last episode).
Replying to your point on Night being a jerk, he really did grate on our nerve right? If I can slap him.But then…
Well, it was neither of their fault because of the curse and they both know it. If Night wasn't there, Ozone would still be hit by a car. Also, if Night wasn't there, Ozone would probably died since Night & Day didn't meet up during leap day, thus the curse would still be working.
I don't think he was being rude to him for the sake of being rude, but rather more of being clear in a harsh way that he don't want to work together since he is afraid that Dream or Ozone would be hurt again.
3 episodes in, this series has been consistently GREAT (aside from the weird fire CGI, but minor issue)The pacing…
The fire scene made me laugh a bit lol. I looked past the fire scene since they have a low budget and it was a dream and dreams tend to be funky looking visual wise.
And 12 noon at that. I think because 12 noon is neither AM nor PM. So by having a daughter who was neither "day"…
Isn't 12 noon PM though? I don't think there is a time where it is not considered day or night.
I was not sure if the baby being born was Day or his own child. If it was Day, where is his father? If it was his child, it seems the nurses don't know and it would be unusual that he is delivering the birth of his own child since there would be rules against it (but maybe that is why he kept it a secret from the nurses).
My theory is that he also have a curse partner (the long-haired guy in the intro played by Pon) and they found a way to end the curse by transferring it to Day & Night. The transfer needs an offering by killing people or something else. This also leads me to think that one of them was the shooter in 2008 since I found it odd that the curse would involve strangers into its usual ordeal. I think Day & Night ended the curse by meeting up on Leap Day, but the curse gets activated again in the next episode. In the teaser, it looks like someone is spying on Dream & Ozone.
I love this show. Ozone may or may not show symptoms of autism among other things. But I find it funny people…
I definitely agree! With supernatural, horror, or thriller shows, I don't judge the portrayal of mental/physical conditions/syndromes/disorders because everything is supposed to be unrealistic. If the show is supposed to be realistic, then yeah I would be picky about it, but it is not. I am pretty sure no person who don't know much about autism would think "yep this is 100% accurate" and search for knowledge in a fictional horror show.
Does it appear to anyone that Night moved on from Joy too fast? She literally died in front of him, so I find…
Then again, it has been a few months after Joy's death, so it is not too fast. Plus, Dream have been interacting with Night every day for a couple of months. Usually when things happen very often consistently in a short period of time, things move way faster. Also, we don't know how far did Night & Joy's relationship went since she never been to his house before until leap day.
Anyone else thinks the professor is suspect? Like, are his wife and daughter really alive, and if so... what did…
Definitely! I was suspicious of him since the first episode because it was weird that they mentioned another person whose birthday is on leap day if it doesn't lead to something.
~LONG COMMENT INCOMING~ I think he was the mass shooter in the 2008 incident because they hid the shooter's face. In the past episodes, I was thinking on why did Day's sister died in a shooting rather than in a freak accident because it would mean that a stranger (the shooter) was involved. It didn't seem to me that the curse would want to involve strangers into its ordeal. This episode is proving my suspicion right a bit. It would be super unusual if the curse decides to involve a killer and 18 other victims instead of the usual close loved ones. The professor probably did something which activate the 2008 curse, causing the phones to ring.
I think maybe his daughter is alive or both of them are alive and the professor is protecting them. I was thinking that he found a way to stop the curse by sacrificing something, maybe people's lives. However, I don't think it stop the curse, but rather transfer it to Day & Night and he maybe have to renew the curse every 4 years. Also, looking at the opening credits, there is 1 more character that we haven't met yet. Maybe him and the professor are the older equivalent of Day & Night. I think at least one of them is evil.
Personally, I don't think Night is being stupid because it makes sense that he don't want to mess with the curse, afraid that it will make everything worse than it already is. Even through both Night & Day are affected by the same curse, their situations are not exactly identical. For Day, only his family members are affected. With Night, his girlfriend's death really changed him as she is the first one who is not family to be affected. I am mentioning the family part because it is hard to excommunicate with your family as a minor, but it easier to excommunicate with non-family members, so Night thinks he has a choice, thus feeling a lot of guilt of letting Joy into his life. Plus, she died very suddenly in front of his eyes without any freak accident or external force happening. Day never seen any of his family members dying right in front of him and it has always been freak accidents. Night has seen things that the curse can do that Day hasn't seen yet, thus he is more afraid of the curse than Day. This makes sense since Night doesn't talk to anyone besides Dream and changes his maids often (isolating himself as much as he can) while Day interacts with his classmates, co-workers, and doesn't leave Ozone to someone else's care. Day still has hope that he can end the curse unlike Night who still thinks the less people involved, the better.
They released the deleted scenes in a playlist on their YouTube channel. I can't provide the link, but search…
Yep! I don't know why they didn't, but maybe the network was strict about not going over the 30 minute mark even through this series is a web series. I know that for some of the scenes like the deleted scenes with San in them, if they air it into the show, it would have spoiled the surprise.
As someone who love SOTUS, you do not need to finish the show if you hate the episodes so far. It is my favorite…
I am glad that you are enjoying it a bit more. With this series, watching more episodes really does help in understanding the characters. Also, the hazing will end soon, so it doesn't last for the entire show.
