no , first off i am not an expert in bl, to be honest i dont even like it that much more of a gl fan here!. and a simple wikipedia or google search can make you understand the definition of bl.
also about a lot of people watching bl. harry porter's target audience was teens, old ppl read it too. naruto is in the shounen genre, im a woman yet i watched it. but that doesn't change the demographic.
