nope nao doesn't end up with mei. they're just good friends. mei clearly loved ibuki her entire life. trauma enforced or not, shes most likely lesbian. at max bi. but laying your head on your friend's shoulder after such an traumatic event doesn't mean they're gonna be together
its just different from norm. we can assume that the male lead is somewhat non-binary or just feminine in nature.. really refreshing and different from the usuals
rightt? i am really in the mood for that.like yeah they are both super flawed and toxic but that is how it be…
yeah exactly. its light because this one doesnt take it to a criminal level. more of a "kids being kids" level, ofc that doesnt justify bullying. this series is extremely refreshing ! . idk if they end up together or not, im here for the good portrayal

exactly!! this is a perfect portrayal of a very common toxic love amongst teenagers. bully falling for the victim. but unlike those fairy tale bl dramas this one is showing the actual side of how this stockholm syndrome works.
most victims of excessive bullying especially where they find "intimacy"for the person who's bullying them already have a toxic/abused life. here hira didn't have a toxic family but he has trouble in communication and had extreme social anxiety , which also proves how realistic this show is, not every child suffering from anxiety has family problems, sometimes its just circumstances that end them up like that.
victim falling for the person who's fucking them up because that's the highest amount of attention and closure theyve ever gotten from another human except family.
and the abuser attracted towards the victim from sadism mixed with superiority. i wouldnt go as far as calling kiyoi an abuser with sadism but low levels of that. he gets the kick from harassing and using hira and putting him below himself and which also in turn is probably gonna make him fall for hira
top tier example of the most common toxic relationship with extremely realistic portrayal. i have no idea why i wrote an essay
This drama is excellent, but Ji Won and Hae Soo have me STRESSED. They keep botching things up. I'm starting to…
he wasnt exactly misdiagnosed . there are stages to sociopathy and antisocial behaviour . its not that he lack empathy completely, just less than normal people. and not to everyone. his emotions and protectiveness towards his daughter is just like any other mother or father. it can just be concluded that, there wasn't much diversity on apathy spectrum during the time he was diagnosed, if it was done during late 2010s then he would be given good counselling and training classes. and of course his upbringing had a played a huge role in how he ended up
he's gay, you can watch the series version if you want to, it's called "fujoshi, ukkari gei ni kokuru" and it's…
sad and one of the finest representation of teen lgbtq ppl in slightly broad minded asian countries. i mean if this was from my asian country, boy would either be the new topic of "woke twitter sjws" or dead in an alley . but for countries like japan, korea, etc this is so true.
