Hmmm. Don't get me wrong. Fumiya is no doubt a splendid actor. The guy slayed Fermat's cuisine. But from the young Nishikata, I thought Tori Matsuzaka or Kenshi Okada or Fuju Kamio fits the bill more (or maybe Tori's a bit advanced in age now). Oh well, will watch anways

The casts - where else would you see these actors/actresses in single movie these days?! Plot aside, I will jump in into this movie with these casts alone.

I agree! I wouldn't mind if ep9 will be entirely Shu's chasing him and Aki be like "aren't we divorced already?" like the preview, giving him the cold shoulder.

If were to sum it up, this is all because Shu's naiveness and/or stupidity..

Yes, at the end of ep7, Aki confessed she "likes" (clearly it's the romantic love type) Momose and don't want to do divorce. Shu then agreed and said he wanted to be together.

Ep8 comes, Aki thought they are now together as a real couple. But at 5:44 shows us Momose's understanding. Aki said they are now on chapter 2. Momose asked what is chapter 1. Aki says chapter 1 is the fake marriage but wouldn't put into words what is phase 2 exactly as she is embarassed --> phase 2 real couple. Then Momose said he thought they are on chapter 1 and he was happy that Aki said she "likes" him (like as a person, friend) and didn't want to divorce him so they can continue on this fake marriage. On Aki's monologue she said something like "What's up with this guy? I hugged him, I kissed him, I even confessed, why can't he understand my feelings"?. Then that's when Aki lost it and says she's leaving their place because Momose didn't understand her feelings. Then the fast forward, we see Momose asking Mamiya and then Makihara what is Aki's feelings as he wants her to come home. Mamiya said "like" means either like or love meaning, but Shu shrugged "love" off as he said they have a rule about it. On Makihara's scene, 39:09 "It's your fault why Aki left. Get yourself together and realize it already ok!!! That you like Aki." Then stubbornly, Momose said "The person that I like is Miharu". I think he's just denying his feelings and just confused. Then ending he comes running to Aki and hugged her, "Divorce me right away". He did mentioned "it's now the beginning" on ep9 preview, so I hope he has some great plan as he did said he likes (not the like one) Aki.

Yes, I think our guy, Shu, is still confused!! I wanted to reach to the screen and shake him up badly, X( . Like wake up pleasee??!!
And since they have divorced already (at least from what I get from ep9 preview), I hope Shu now runs after Aki, and Aki please let the guy suffer first before reconciling ok.
