Something didn't go well with this movie. This doesn't have any story at all. It's a gory movie but nothing more than that. Bloody and gore movies are fun but this one absolutely relys on gore ,exteme violence and disturbing viceral imagery.
I loved the concept of the movie and the touching performances of the father and son,I just wish they have developed it better. It had potential I just felt I needed more and didn't get it.The actress Kang Hye Jung I barely recognised her! She made an impression back in the days with her cute face 'n her unforgettable performance in "Old Boy"

i,too,like sexually transgressive, twisted plots and characters and my man it's one of the best in category.i love japan for its edgy, taboo-baring dramas but more importanly they make you stop and think.my man is a film that only speaks to a select audience-so if you didn't like it i get it.it's a slice of madness wrapped up in heavy-handed dramatics.lead actors carried out their roles vely well.especially fumi nikaido,she shines and she is a great actress. this film dishes out some serious punches for sure

I'd say he's picky when it comes to get a role so this is why he hasn't participate in so many movies I suppose. He gave us an outstanding performance here. I'm a male too but dude can't deny the fact he is a good looking guy and attractive and I love the mysterious aura around him. Too bad he stopped acting after he got married. He kind of reminded me of John Wick or Leon from the movie Leon the Professional.
a smell of youth!a sweet coming of age movie with beautiful cinematography and the young girl has delivered an outstanding performance in a leading role. The movie brings back the bittersweet feeling of youth ,struggling with family issues,questioning your place in the world or your sexuality. I'd love to see more of the young girl's and teacher's relationship,they should have let it develop more it kind of ended abruptly but I understand the reason it remains strictly platonic. The teacher here is someone who just came to open up a new world within young girl's heart when she starts to experience all kind of emotions for the first time.The most important one is "understanding" and wants to underline this. She plays the role of hope and gives a shape to young girl's existence.
