Man. putting the main cast of tossara with this one really shows the difference in talent. I actually like the acting in this one. It sounds real.

Oooh the cheating girlfriend. That's new! Ok BotD4: Vee doesn't actually like Ploy. Wait that's just BotD1... Whatever. Im gonna be positive and hope its not the cliche cheap solution to guy who has girlfriend whilst also being a convenient reason for them to break up.

They acknowledged how Vee is too perfect in a relationship. That better be the plot point im expecting..
If they pull off a BonDuen here where Vee acts like a normal human in relationships, then that might be something.

Still, why is Vee being so obsessive with this guy? I really hope he didn't just suddenly like him after sex. Otherwise, this writer knows nothing about motives.

Part 3:
I swear whenever those two weirdos are in a scene, NOTHING OF IMPORTANCE happens. They're just there because haha so funny they're ugly but think they have a chance with the BL boys XDDDD. Fuck off. Fuck right off. Not to mention their absolute toxic mentality and view on relationships. Its not just them two. Its the whole friend group. Fuck of. Fuck right off. I don't care if you're forshadowing that hes gonna break of with his girlfriend, that's just a silly thing to say (its not even them weirdos who say it. I'm saying this whole scene is literally garbage, other characters included). That whole friend group is trash. How fucking annoying would it be for someone to call you daddy or whatever the thai equivalent is. Jesus. No one talks like that.
Finishing the scene, I realise you could just take 90% of the dialogue out and it wouldn't matter. Fuck you Wabi Sabi. I'm still mad about UWMA. Oops

So clearly Mark is being shitty because for some fucking reason he likes Vee now. Or at least thats what im getting.
You can tell im slowly deteriorating along with my language as my patience runs out.

I guess that phone call was a moment of hypocrisy if my theory (BotD1) is correct.

Part 2:
"We love each other so much we don't fight". Benefit of the doubt 2: probably another hint that their relationship isn't genuine and two sided and is more like Fighter's. A couple who never fight is unrealistic. There has to be something wrong when nothing wrong happens. I'm gonna just think that it's got something to do with the, i guess, theme of imperfection. Ooh boy positive thoughts are hard.

Oh some good messages about separating feelings and school work. Don't let it distract you! I completely relate.

Side note: Mark's voice is really cute wtf. His body doesnt match at all.

Seems that Mark is just... wow he's really not upset about that night? "You did nothing wrong"?? Or is he (BotD3) repressing it?
At least Vee actually feels guilty, which leads me back to w h y y y y did you even do it??? I'm really hoping my BotD1 is correct otherwise I will d i e.

Part 1:
I'm just gonna... give this a 10/10. No... not because Mark is hot... there are... other reasons... but I won't tell you.

Ok but seriously. So the fact that Vee even did that in the first scene tells you that there are feelings there for Mark from the very beginning. Pretty good early info for a 4 episode series. AND THEN it ruins it with "i dont want my girlfriend to know" bro what??? Why did you even do it? Are you that much of a bro? Does the writer just not have a grasp on reality?? I'm gonna give the benefit of the doubt and believe that he has absolutely nothing romantic going on with his girlfriend and actually likes Mark instead. (Also did he lose his voice from deepthroating? LMAO).

Its also really weird that he wasn't more upset like "what the fuck dude???"

Guys you were right. This is better. Not artistically or anything. Its just more fun to make fun of. I love that flashback. I mean maybe its important to his character and his understanding of love/relationships but its just such a funny thing to point out.

People are saying this is better than Tossara so I'm gonma give it a shot. I'll edit this with what I think.

It's definitely better than Tossara... even up to the acting. Its funny seeing Tossara compared to Mark and Vee lmao. The difference is so noticeable.
Right now, on episode 1 of 4, it's okay. While there's some... weird motivations, it's still likely that they'll pull a 180 on those things and make it kind of okay or at least make sense. The main problem right now is that it really needs full episodes to fully highlight what they're really thinking and what their true motives are. I feel like Mark's character could be portrayed to be way more complex. Idk. My Engineer has really spoiled me with writing that makes sense.

Right now it's a 6/10.
But Mark's actor War is both hot and cute so actually its a 10/10
The two stooges showed up in this episode having no relevance at all to the plot so more like 1/10
But War's acting is just so cute and actually pretty good that I gotta give it 8/10 if I consider my 3 BotDs. Otherwise its a 6/10 for this episode alone.
But also 10/10 for War alone.

I've never seen or read this but unless that idea is highlighted, it doesn't work story-wise. It just comes off as plot convenience to bring to dudes together.

That's all it takes :) but from a storytelling standpoint, you don't rely on our primal mechanics to sell a love story. It involves complex emotions. If you don't, it's just lazy. It's like modern horror films nowadays. Horror is more than "oooh scary". Good horror are often psychological, or defines what human fear is and exploits that in a clever way.

Unless you make that idea prominent or the main theme, it's pretty weak.

I'm actually happy with how I agree with pretty much what everyone says about this show. With other shows it's like going into another dimensionwheretheythinkuwmaisareallygoodshow. Although I'm seeing more Ram/King fans than Bon/Duen :(
It's a matter of preference, of course. I just think that beyond how Ram and King interact, there's really nothing else about them. I also think Bon/Duen is cuter lmao.

The only shot I found awkward was Ep 7 when Bon dove in the water to save Daonua. It looked so weird but otherwise its pretty dang good.

I have no words for you... I thought that was obvious as soon as they showed that he's a guy who talks to his plants as early as episode 3 or 4(? I dont remember, but its the scene with his mother).

Put simply, Ram likes dogs. King likes Plants. Plants like King. Dogs like Ram. Ram likes King. King likes Ram.

King likes taking care of Ram like he's a plant (nurture). Ram takes care of King like he's a dog (food! And company).

Basically King being dragged all the time by Ram just reminds me of when you want your dog to go a certain direction. He even said it himself. "Stop dragging me like a dog" or something like that. He's also constantly giving Ram attention whenever he can. (Best thing about this ship is that plants can't hate you and dogs are loyal so it's a strong ship lmao)

Less serious answer? He was bitten by a dog and is now Dogman. His super power is Cynophobia. How unfortunate.

Hehe normally I'd be mad at these things and idk if I'm delusional with how I love this series but they actually have some purpose for being there.

1. To remind you that they are in fact not trying to be in a relationship (although i think Ram is catching feelings)

And 2. To show the characters that they could be a couple. Notice that the girls say "they're definitely a couple!" And not "they should totally be a couple!" They already act like one so... maybe they can be? Idk. I mean compare that with the people in En Of Love. Just... god awful people forcing two guys together. Or compare it to other shows lately where literally every episode has these people squealing for two guys to be/being together with no purpose other than to just reflect the audience (or at least what how they expect the audience to react). Ugh.

But yea otherwise they're a bit unnecessary. Like I'm pretty sure the two things I listed could've been achieved by King's sister alone.

Ignoring all the technical problems with Boss/, I think their story is kinda new to BL (but common to LGBT themed stories. there's a difference).
My theory is that there is absolutely nothing wrong with Fon. That other girl that set him up? It must be like some sort of bait to make you expect that Fon is the same. The addition of Fon is probably meant as a hurdle for Mek to overcome since he says that he's fine with being just friends. How far can he go with that sentiment, though, when the guy he likes goes out with someone else? That's the question.
They've started giving hints that Boss feels lonely that Mek gets a lot of attention so I'm guessing they're just gonna show that he's only dating Fon because he feels left behind by Mek.

Just my speculations.

It's an objectively bad show, from the writing to the production and direction. It's egregious. That's the tea, sis.

This one actually had at least an ounce of thought put into it. You can tell that they actually cared about making it.

Yeah! I think that's the point, though. The main couple is taking it slow, or at least... y'know, a normal pace.

Fun fact: Episode 7 ended on their ~16th(?) night since they met. That's not a lot of time, realistically. ((And yes I've been counting since they do have that one month thing going on with the roses.))

The saddest part is people STILL watch them despite the zooms while the official links are already up...
I'd suggest spreading the word on those videos. It probably helps more than just reporting for spam. I saw a few complaining about the zooms with a few hundred likes, so I just tell them to watch on the official channel.

I read that the way he acted around Duen was an act. He's not actually kind at all. I did also think that he was just salty that he lost to Bohn lol

Actual spoilers:
Their storyline is just Thara teaching Fong how to be a good person and how to treat customers right (considering he's a doctor and he has to know do those things too). I got that from MD's (Thara) IG.

I still think that Tarng is a bit of an empty character. Ever notice just how little character he has...? Maybe its just me, but he seems underdeveloped even as a supporting character.

But god I super agree with the story part. The main couple is basically a just regular progression of how normal couples progress (they even go on a date to get to know each other. How rare is that?), but despite that, it's interesting and fresh. It doesn't feel forced at all since they show you how their feelings for each other develop and its not completely unbelievable (like oh we kissed/almost kissed i think I like him!!! Its funny since they do those tropes too, but they hardly ever rely on it for the ship to work). Hell, there's even a common motif shared between the four couples that any healthy couple should have - the desire to care for the other. They may have different dynamics, but that's the constant. I feel like with other shows, that comes second (drama first), but here it's very clearly shown and that's what makes their relationships tangible and real to me.
