‘Lines in the sand’ is a metaphor often used to express boundaries, limits, or non-negotiable stances. In using this metaphor, I meant to convey that she isn’t someone who constantly seeks revenge. However, if someone crosses her boundaries—such as attacking someone she loves—she’ll take action to seek justice or revenge. I'm not sure if I conveyed this properly-does this explanation make sense to you?

Her moving on/living peacefully is consistent with her character. Having her suddenly switch into hardcore revenge mode against everyone would be inconsistent with who she has been so far. Although she clearly does have her lines in the sand, so to speak.

He breaks the hairpin she gifts to JCY, which makes JCY think she's telling him she's not interested in having romantic feelings for him. I believe it happens in episode 6.

I hope this misunderstanding gets sorted out quickly. I loathe the “misunderstanding/not talking to each other” trope—it’s lazy and overdone, and I don’t feel it belongs in an otherwise mature, well-written show like this. Other than that, my only real complaint so far is that the show will only be 24 episodes.

The first two eps are off to a strong start. I loved how JCY went to confront the princess, and really just loved every scene with JCY and Mudan together. From what I can tell, the show seems to be doing well too—so, good times all around.

I just started this, but I loved the beginning of episode 2 with the soft drink cans when the ML and the blind date were in the little boat. His expressions were so funny.
