Just watched it in the cinema in Bangkok. actually I liked it a lot more than part 2! Apart from some unbelievable scenes (like getting a knife deep in the stomach then fighting like nothing happened) it was really a fun ride. And I already wait for Tee Yod 4 now 😂
Final verdict: It was a nice watch, but clearly the weakest season. The games were nice to watch, but the suspense from earlier seasons wasn't there (for me). And it lacked a real plot, it was more like every episode another game. Except the last episode. I don't see why some people see an American version upcoming, The last 2 minutes do not imply any of that in my opinion. I think AiB is over now, but I wouldn't say no if another season is coming.
I just finished episode 5 of 6 and I am bit disappointed. It's a nice watch, but basically they only run from one game to the next in each episode. There is nothing more happening, no real plot like in season 1 or 2. Something is definitely missing here, and my emotional connection with the characters is also not there because of that. Let's see what the final episode brings up.
I liked watching this series, but it wasn't the best J-BL. The overall shyness and politeness was a bit too much. Those are two adult men who aren't able to really talk to each other like real people in many scenes, even when they are alone at home. But the most annoying thing are those "kisses" if we call them like that. Please, if you don't want to kiss the same gender, then don't play in a BL. Other than that it had a nice story but it was a bit predictable. Didn't really feel the spark between those two but it was a nice watch.
I really liked this show, although it wasn't perfect. They really tried to satisfy everyone with the last episode, but they didn't succeed completely. Per and Kan were a wonderful couple throughout the show and they really delivered. Knight and Mild - well, they really didn't click with me. Mild changed a bit from a really shy introvert to an outspoken bottom boy, it was a bit much. And the chemistry between those two didn't really work out so well. Tum and Klah were really really cute together and I would have loved to see more of them. The show had some flaws, especially the controversial and most discussed story takes in episode 5, which were, after the show finished, not really necessary. They didn't contribute anything to the overall story. So the story could have used some reworks. Still I really liked this show but it wasn't the best of the year. I would rate it a 7.5/10.
I'm late to the game, just started this series today but watched episodes 1 to 3 already. I really like it. It's a very touching watch and the characters are all very interesting and loveable. Can't wait to continue tomorrow, it's pretty late already ^^
Just saw it in its original version with English subtitles at the Fünf Seen Festival here in Starnberg, nearby Munich / Germany with a Taiwanese delegation present.
Fantastic family drama, I highly recommend it. It's a calm movie, set in chapters that concentrate on each family member's view of their (poorer) life and its obstacles. Actors are all great. I only wished it was maybe 15 minutes longer, the ending was good but a bit sudden. 8.5/10.
Loved it. A great mature BL with two stars that deliver. No stupid gags, no unnecessary side storylines, nothing cringe here, everything concentrated around those two. Especially Singto is a great actor. The only complaint I have is that I'd loved to see a bit more intimacy between them both, they played it a bit too safe in this show. Great to see a wedding incl. registration in a Thai BL. 9/10.
Reading the comments here over the last weeks was funny somehow. All those - I'm sorry but that's how I see it - oversensitive people trying to cancel this show that has some adult themes (allegedly), and making it bad after episode 5 ended - for something that hasn't even been shown - should be quite quiet by now (if they are still watching). Nothing at all happened, and next time, just wait with your judgement until a show has finished. The only thing that is still open for me is why Mild's brother reacted like he did back then and why he and his friends didn't clear things up earlier instead of creating unnecessary drama (I guess that's a screenwriter's issue here).
I'm really happy about episode 7. It was a really cute one, Mild changed from that always sad looking boy to a smiling cutiepie, his parents are welcoming and open. The self-inflicted breakup just because Per's mom doesn't like him to be with a guy and Kan - that was a bit too much for me. Why didn't they just talk like grown-ups instead of ignoring each other and tearing up, without a real reason. Who on earth would just break up a relationship just because a mom says so, come on. At least it was (as expected) quickly solved once they looked each other in the eyes. Love PakMon. I like this series. Can't wait for the next episode.
Love PakMon. They are just great together and I love how the second couple's story goes on. They are just cute and sexy together like in real life. Cannot wait how the story goes on between both of them. Still not a fan of the first couple's story, Knight and Mild have no chemistry together. I'm not so affected by the darker scene in Ep5 - a film or a show doesn't need to be cute and fluffy all the time and this one is not intended to be watched by children. Can't wait for next week. I like it.
Episode 5 was great, but the last 10 minutes were a bit crazy. Still don't get how Mild doesn't know what happened to him (apparently done by Knight), he should be fully aware and see who came over him, but he was shocked what was revealed to him (which is, btw, a pretty cruel revelation as part of a drinking game? wtf). I don't think it happened like that. Let's see what the next episode brings to light.
Beautiful last episode. Could have been a bit longer, only 33 minutes. The only thing I was missing was a kiss between Chi Cheng and Wu Sowei. Even the 2nd couple had one. Almost a capital crime to leave that out for a final episode.
Final thoughts: This was overall a fantastic show. We got 24 episodes of a Chinese BL with so many great actors that showed wonderful chemistry on screen, and it never got boring. Other shows usually come with 10 or 12 episodes. I really loved it. It had some flaws, like the recent jail stuff and some storylines were resolved to fast or not really good. Could have been 30 episodes to cover all of that better I guess. Also, the part with Wang Shuo hasn't been really solved in a good way towards the end, but whatever. 9/10. I loved it.
PakMon‘s love scene was wonderful. those two are the best of the show. Love everything about them. the others are okay but the main couple doesn‘t give me any real vibes together so far.
