I tried to love it but in the end it was only "okay" for me. The biggest issue I had was the constant screaming and shouting for the majority of the running time. Characters were good and likeable. 6/10.
First half was great and gave me everything I wished for. Unfortunately the second half lost lots of its steam, and I was missing a bit of the charm the 1975 original has, the emotional depth of the different people on the train. Still, it was a great action film, but especially the last hour had some lengths. 7.5/10.
Wow, episode 6 was gorgeous. Couldn't move my eyes away from the screen. Every gesture, every move was so carefully crafted. Best episode so far. It's really sad that this gem of a series already ends next week.
"Rated by 74 users". Sad. People should watch more classics that are older than 2 years! This is a gem. Bought it on Blu-ray as it was praised everywhere and it really deserves it.
Love it so far. The atmosphere is gorgeous, the cinematography of Chiang Mai and the surroundings just stunning. Really like the slow burn of the episodes and can't wait for the next episode!
Really loved it until the last two episodes which derailed into being unnecessarily ultra violent and into an overall very depressive tone. Still, a very good drama and I will be watching Class 2 ofc. But it's not a 9 for me.
I want to start with a disclaimer….I am what is labeled a millennial which is a nice way of saying I am old.…
Wonderful comment, loved reading it. I have one episode left. Can't wait to see how it ends. And you're not alone here. I'm also not a teenager ;) and love BLs.
Loved it. And the final minutes left me in tears because I was so happy for them. Wonderfully done. Kim Jun Seo was fantastic. All the others too. A must-watch.
Just finished the last episode and I love it. It was a warm and comforting show with very likeable characters. William aka Thame - I just love how soft he speaks and how he's portrayed. Would marry this guy immediately. Po/Est: He was great. But sometimes his lack of communication skills made me a bit mad. Just talk with Thame and don't always reply with "eh" and that's it :D Overall it was clear that ThamePo is targeted to a younger audience, it was really family-friendly made. Would have loved a bit more spicy version. But in the end I could watch some other show then. Also some more ThamePo scenes instead of group performances. I hope we see more from these guys soon, apart from LYKN of course. 8.5/10.
For everyone in Europe who still hasn’t seen it, Netflix Germany finally has a date: it starts April 12! Couldn’t believe my eyes when it popped up in the Lookahead section today, finally.
Just finished EP4 and I'm fully rooting for Baabin now. He's really the best actor here. This Chian guy gets on my nerves. Can Fou4Mod please forget this guy soon. Hope the last 3 episodes give us some happy couple scenes but I guess we need to wait.
Loved this. Great storyline, although sometimes a bit unrealistic, but this is not an arthouse drama. The two couples were great and had a wonderful chemistry. Loved especially the acting of First and Joong. Cinematography was really good. 8.5/10 for me.
Really cannot follow what you write. For me Jack & Joker was one of the best series last year. Everyone can have his own opinion, but trashing it like this is a bit unfair to this really good production. "$1 trash-novel only for braindead fangirls" - come on. I guess you only want to provoke with this review.
I loved Jack & Joker the series. I also really liked this special. Although the amount of sadness in the last 25 minutes was a bit too much tbh, and I don't understand why they wanted to end it like this. Luckily we have the post-credits scene, and this one really screams "season 2 here we come". It's pretty obvious that there will be one, otherwise the scene doesn't make sense. So, thank you for giving this special to us. Now let's wait for more YinWar as Jack and Joker soon!
I really like this show but the final episode was kinda disappointing to me. Didn't really get the twists and turns by Sei towards Fuji and a few minutes later towards Hagiwara which came out of nowhere after the scene with Fuji before. It all felt too rushed and then it was over. Could have been a lot better with another episode I think. It started so good and ended with a big nothing. 7/10.
Po/Est: He was great. But sometimes his lack of communication skills made me a bit mad. Just talk with Thame and don't always reply with "eh" and that's it :D
