you probably meant fast-paced sarcastically. This drama is so slow. I gotta mentally prepare before I watch it. I dropped it by ep 5.

I took a break from this drama and here I am a month later thinking if I should pick it up again. A lot of people have become so frustrated at this so I'm taking it as a sign to drop. I am a huge romcom/underdog story enthusiast but it seems like this isn't the drama for me.

- Autumn Ballad *has theme of r4p3 for supporting character so I dropped but lead couple is cute but got draggy for me*


Honestly, if I don't have time for a full-length drama spanning hours, I just watch short web dramas all free on YouTube be it K or C drama. I haven't watched any Japanese dramas aside from Coffee and Vanilla but that's it. I think C-dramas has the best tension and kiss scenes but tend to be draggy in the middle while K-dramas have better plot lines and cinematography.

I miss them so bad. After finishing this, I am now watching Till the End of the Moon and it's also good but I miss this drama with little to no stressors and fluffy romance. I just wish they kissed more.

Welcome to the Drama Xinaxia/Wuxia/Historical world my fellow K-Drama fanatic!Believe me when I say I do not regret it one bit. I am still in love w/ k-dramas but the kissing scenes in C-dramas are better especially for the mature audiences like me. Being 21 years old, I cannot stand K-drama kisses that are merely pecks or would last a nanosecond.

I just want to go back to the original plot of Tantai Jin and Ye Xiwu where they fall in love. It's alr ep 14 and still no proper kiss scene. I think the last kiss scene was on ep 10 and the legendary blanket scene was in ep 2. The skinship is virtually nonexistent at the moment. Hopefully they make up for it in the future eps.

I would want Tiantai Jin to experience that more so than Ye Xiwu.
