Where I first saw the actors:
- Cheng Yi: Immortal Samsara - oh my goodness I love him so much he is husband material. my ideal guy for marriage I swear his future wife would be so lucky omg heart eyes. I have yet to watch Love and Redemption, people would always comment something along the lines of 'ahhh, Si Feng~'

- Bai Lu: (1) Jiu Liu Overlord - paused at ep 5 will def come back. (2) Till the End of the Moon - currently watching and we have 4 eps left omg my sepanx is incoming >~< I love her so much she's so talented and pretty--the more you stare at her face, the more you like her beauty it doesn't get tiring. I hope for a happy ending so much. (3) Love is Sweet - concurrently started with TTEOTM. paused at ep 4 cuz I hyper focused on TTEOTM cuz I'm a historical/xianxia fanatic lol. Would def come back for IF we get a sad/open ending I can think they reincarnated into Yuan Shuai & Jiang Jun. It's kinda slow burn.

- Li Hong Yi: (1) Love better than Immortality: I love love love his bad boy image omg that is so hot of him I needed to eat buckets of ice cream to cool down. his character is so feisty in such a good way. I love his gaze too. I have yet to see his more recent works Wulin Heroes and Blood of Youth.

Cheng Yi and Li Hong Yi look soooo alike I've seen them in Immortal Samsara and Love Better than Immortality that I had to pause and look them up to compare side by side to see they're not the same guy. But both really gave me the butterflies in my stomach. I am sooo excited for it!

I tried to concurrently watch Love is Sweet with this but I haven't gone back to it after ep 4. I'm a historical/xianxia fanatic but I'll come back to it again after this ends. Cuz IF it's a sad/open ending, I could think they reincarnated into Love is Sweet. LOL.
I'm in USA and Netflix doesn't have it slated here.Hopefully in the future.

There's a 2FL and she tries in all arcs: mortal, and dream but fails every time. Not exactly love triangle bc our ML is truly madly deeply in love with our FL

I was expecting fluff and lovey dovey cutesy scenes
but now I've grown accustomed to the pain

if TTJ doesn't get a happy ending, these writers are really doing a great job in bringing about my villain origin story

I dropped this at ep 10. You're so strong for finishing this to the bitter end. It was too bland/draggy for me.

I was actually wanting to see them make out and have a lot of skinships. Editors on TikTok and clips from Youtube I saw of them were so fire but at the same time I also like this enduring love that they have. Especially in our society today of h00kup culture, it's good to see love portrayed like this. It reminded me a lot of Immortal Samsara: ML's sacrificial love. But that was too much. If Tantai Jin were to ask me to marry him, I would fold real quiccc. Li Susu had a strong mentality cuz if I were to be pursued/courted like that, idk we'll get married by ep 10 at the latest and let burn the world I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
