I though YBC would have a redemption arc after the mortal realm but seems not 👹

I’m a clown for hoping to see glimpses of their married life and fluffy romance for the last 10 eps. but it seems like we’re down to 4 eps. maybe the ending would just be them leaning on each other and having a kiss idk. idc at this point. I just don’t want it to be sad or open ending.

I think they filmed this 2 years ago right cuz there were already photos of behind the scenes from 2021.

they should have a choose your own ending option hahaha

if they communicated and had a heart to heart on a regular basis then we won’t get 30 eps😂 it happens in real life too so make sure to apply communication in ur relationships

yeah I definitely understand the frustration with xianxias. I’ve been watching ‘em since 2019 and the leads always have a fiery chemistry but too much spitting blood. it’s like 80% angst and 20% sweetness everytime which is weird for them to label most xianxias as romance when the stress level we get is like Penthouse style (kdrama abt affairs n betrayal)

I miss lang jie so much last I saw her in a drama was the eternal love season 1,2,3 but I kinda dropped s3. she’s so pretty and talented. my last yitian drama was a love so beautiful so I am SAUR EXCITED for thisss.

Currently on ep 32 but I'm waiting for all the eps to roll out. I shall binge this on Monday with 4 boxes of napkin/tissue to wipe the tears and snot away. I've gotten so attached to this my Twitter feed is filled w it not gonna lie. Happy or open/sad ending, I'm just glad to have seen this masterpiece.

I especially love his micro expressions like I CAN tell the difference when he plays Mingyue vs. Tantai Jin in TTEOTM. He's such a versatile actor.

It's such a visually appealing couple with natural chemistry. Nothing feels forced at all! I particularly liked that although it's historical, there wasn't a political battle for the throne or a conniving evil stepmother or 2FL
