I had been watching xianxias a lot and this title kept popping up on a lot of the recommendations so I gave it a try. I assumed it was one. My bad

I know some Korean actors have starred in Chinese dramas before like Yoona of SNSD/Girls Gen. But her drama never saw the light of day cuz of China/SKor tensions. I think LSH would look absolutely DIVINE if he were casted in a Chinese xianxia. I just finished the Starry Love and I'm imagining him as the ML Shaodian Youqin~~<3

I KNOW they look good together. I am not complaining about their visuals but their script and the plot of WoACN. It was endorsed as romance but it started shifting its focus on crime-fighting and mystery cases. I was even hoping for longing glances with eye-contact but no siree. I am just saying I hope this reunion drama gets more romantic scenes.

He is the same ML of Li Yi Tong in Warm in A Cold Night. He plays a werewolf prince. I think they didn't have a proper lovey lovey plot there and his costume did not shout 'royalty' as he is trying to hide his identity. I dropped it because it got a little too draggy for me. But in case this pairing is finalized, I am excited to see them give it another shot. Hopefully, they get a better romantic script.

Read some spoilers in the comment section so basically: FL marries her brother-in-law...just wow. The real Sang Yu (First Wife, No.1 She-Devil of the Capital) apparently died in that cliff scene from the get-go. The newly found Sang Yu with amnesia is her twin.

They are separated at birth and their REAL father is the killer of ML's father. I was honestly enjoying this by ep 7 then I read the spoilers. It seems that it could have a lot of potential but it's starting to look draggy given that their wedding is gonna be in the LAST episode.

This is tagged as xianxia but I don't see any superpowers or love that spans lifetimes/reincarnation at all. I feel soooo bad for the OG Sang Yu that just dies like that.
And ofc the writers had to pull off the FL knew ML before OG Sangyu and it was love at first sight but she gets amnesia so it's okay since OG Sangyu dies and they can go their merry way.

I came here because it was a recommendation from the Starry Love, I really liked that drama and it was easy to watch, But my man Ryan Ding, I hadn't seen any of his works since Romance of Tiger and Rose in 2020. And so I thought I might give this a shot. It's a pity I really liked this couple's visuals but an admirer of beauty alone cannot carry a story. The plot looks too meh for me. But I don't discourage you, we just have different tastes and expectations so I'm dropping this one. Happy viewing though~! :>

He is soooo handsome in The Starry Love albeit playing the villain supporting role. His visual left a lasting impression. I hope to see him in more projects in the future as a ML who can make my heart skip in a xianxia/wuzxia/historical cdrama.

I just finished it and oh man, I'm was so optimistic we could get at least a glimpse of them being reborn. I wish they made extra episodes.

Did we all watch the same thing? I came here for the romance and it wasn't really much. It felt like a footer at the end of a book. The genre is fantasy + outbreak (but it's not zombies at all!). At first it was like Cinderella then they started having an outbreak then the weak FL turns out to be powerful. They didn't really focus on the romance. What I thought was the 2ML turned out to her her cousin and yet, he wanted to marry her. I'm just like (o_O) *bombastic side eye.* For someone who didn't read the manga, this shouldn't have been advertised as romance.

They're probably gate-keeping Wang YiBo's talent and handsomeness in this. Chinese Gov please do better! Huhuhu~~

Also I noticed Chinese dramas tend to film everything and release it YEARS after. In contrast to K-dramas that film and release dramas the same year. Won't it be weird to see a drama filmed years ago to be released now? Like, I'm 21 now but I sure hope they release this before I turn 25 lol how many years should fans wait? I'll haunt this page if they still don't release it when I turn 80.

I first saw him in Love is Sweet but I dropped it because I am not too fond of modern romance and I moved onto Till the End of the Moon (both featured the same main couple). After TTEOTM, I watched Back from the Brink where I saw a familiar face and sure enough, I found Riley Wang. I loooove his dimples. I think YanHui didn't choose him because he is for the viewers hahaha. Now, I am excited to see him in Legend of Rosy Clouds with Li Yi Tong and Deng Wei.

They are the same couple from Warm on A Cold Night that premiered earlier this year. I just started watching it and I'm already on ep 16 with only 1 kiss scene and little to no skinship. I think there was chemistry but since the plot in WoACN focused too much on solving cases and mysteries, viewers like me forgot that it's also a romance. The writers are good though and it is a very well-crafted storyline but I think the writers forgot they endorsed it as romance....
So hopefully, if Li Yi Tong and Bi Wen Jun are confirmed to reunite here, I sure hope to God and all the shooting stars that they get more cutesy lovey dovey romantic scenes.
WOACN is a wuxia so it is not as angsty as other xianxias like Immortal Samsara.

I sure hope we don't get a lot of blood spitting, miscommunication through various lifetimes and bad ending in this one.

I am currently watching Warm on A Cold Night and sadly, I have to agree with you. Their chemistry was there at first but the plot started to focus more on solving cases. The couple didn't have time to "marinate" the chemistry or spend time together without stressing about the killer and the case. I am already on ep 16 and clearly the ML likes her but she doesn't have romantic feelings whatsoever. There are a total of 35 eps (45 minutes/ea).
I got hooked with Li Yi Tong's acting and she pulls off her character really well in WoACN but the ML isn't ML-ing in the romantic realm. Sure, he is strong has a soft spot for her but aside from that, there has been no skinship and only 1 kiss scene. I might drop it fr fr and if this drama features him again, I just hope they get more romantic cutesy lovey dovey scenes instead of angst.

I still remember Li Yi Tong's old profile picture here o My Dramatist with the red background and the nice red hair accessories. They should keep a gallery of her profile photos from before. She is just too stunning. I first saw her in a cameo role from Love Between Fairy and Devil as Xiao Lan Hua's master that traveled elsewhere. And now, I am watching her drama Warm on a Cold Night and her performance never disappoints! She is just so magnetic and eye-catching. Hoping to see her in more projects in the future! Jia you~
