why do people hate chen duling so much? was she in a controversy? her acting is bad? there is solid reason to…
On Twitter (X), there are people allegedly saying she's rude to staff and tried to outshine her co-stars in TTEOTM. Take it with a grain of salt because not all you see on the net are true. She is a skilled actress though and I had always been in awe of her talent ever since I saw her work Love in the Flames of War (I dropped bc it's a sad ending but if it wasn't I would've finished it). And so I was thrilled about her casting in Till the End of the Moon as it was refreshing to see her play as a villain.
I know they both have said they want to do a Republican era suspense thriller together. So maybe it'll be something…
I hope that if they DO Republican era, maybe ease off on the philosophical stuff. It doesn't have to be a no-brainer watch but still insightful. Maybe have fictional elements/setting too. I sure hope that if they have a 3rd wheel/love rival, that it would be how Tan Taijin treated Ye BingChang hahaha. I don't really dig love affairs.

Now that you mentioned it, I think they would SLAY Republican era costumes. I just hope they have a happy ending bc a lot of Rep dramas tend to be so somber, sad/bittersweet ending and too philosophical. If they were to do a fantasy setting with the same vibes like that would be so cool. Lol but the time traveling trope might be over-used. I would also like it if they were childhood friends or 2 generals competing on different sides, slowburn with oozing tension... enemies to lovers. I'd watch just about anything with this pairing.
I bet they never give him the ml role because he doesn't have the "korean look", knowing how South Korea is like.
I think his thick luscious eyebrows reminds me of a certain European group. I would say Spaniards. But I might be wrong. Take for example this Filipino actor with Spanish descent: Iñigo Pascual. LSH's profile says he is Korean. But idk why he gives me Italian vibes.
Reading from the comments, I can finally start watching this and ship her with the one she ends up with. I know A LOT of people want her to be with others but now I got my answer, I shall root for the end game to protect my sanity.

His striking features kinda resembles a lot of the actors I see in Chinese drama xianxias. I kinda have this concept in my mind that a "Korean look" is more softer and rounder features. As for LSH, he looks so fierce.
Heer visuals caught my eye when she played Ling Fei aka Su'e (Suying's sister in Guanhang Sect) from Back from the Brink. I love her acting. I hope to see her in future dramas as female lead. JIA YOU~

At first I thought it would be giving Bite Sisters vibes but it was far from it. Taecyeon has been getting roles that are amiss and no chemistry. His last role that stuck out to me was in Vincenzo. He is an AWESOME actor, I just feel that the roles he picks are limiting his capabilities to show off his talents.

WinWin of NCT is acting now??? :>>> with THE Gao Wei Guang??? My c-drama and NCTzen heart has merged..... the cross over I was not expecting this 2023. Tencent, please air it soooooon. thank yoooouu
Supernatural or fantasy dramas most of ended up with sad ending 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Not in Chinese drama xianxias... at least in Romance of Tiger and Rose, they ended up together again in the modern day... and The Eternal Love (Season 1,2,3 starring Xing Zhao Lin and Liang Jie). There's also Love better than Immortality and Back from the Brink.
Open ending that I really enjoyed are Till the End of the Moon and Immortal Samsara. I never regret the angst it put me through because that acting and plot is plotting.
Thank you for the comments. I paused watching this on ep 7 and soooo glad I waited for the feedback to decide that I shall be dropping this. It really had me in the first half not gonna lie. The premise was so good at first. You all saved me 9 hours of my life and for that, I am eternally grateful. I shall move onto other dramas. I hope to see the actors be given a better script. I shall support them in the future no matter what, but if their work isn't piquing my interest I don't think it should be a crime to stop watching it. I have seen far too many shows that drag so much that I wish I had just dropped it. But I always held on because I was over the halfway mark and should just see it to the bitter end. But now, I have a different mindset on what I must spend my time on. This life is limited so it's better to enjoy a different drama rather than sit through something I force myself to watch.
Thank you for supporting a drama made in the Philippines. I hope there will be many more to come for you. This is actually my first one in years because I prefer my K/Cdramas but I now find hope in the improvement of our film industry back home.
Off-topic: This ship reminds me so much of my favorite ship, JaDine during in their "Diary ng Panget" days. Share ko lang! What a pity we never got Talk Back and You're dead movie sequel.
Anyways, I hope for more MarVen projects in the future. #TeamLuKal

There's more tweets like this if you dig deeper. I'm not a Chinese speaker but if I was, Weibo is a good place to look into as well.

I know they were already in Love is Sweet but I prefer them in xianxias with these nice lavish costumes.
This drama remains in my timeline on Twitter so I can't get over it. >.<
Sign me up!! Looking forward to this.
