I feel like its kinda sad that FL and SML seemed really good friends in the beginning but for most of the episodes their relationship seems like they're becoming more like strangers with each other.
The plot is getting so messy and honestly this drama is absolutely dampening my spirits and makes me feel really negative so im not gonna watch it for the time being
I don't understand your scores. They don't fit with your comment. Very strange...
I dont rate based on how others rate on mydramalist. For me 7/10 is a very good score for me. So 6/10 is reasonable for me. Our scores are all subjective in nature
Im at ep 2 and wow, Ryeoun is such a good actor! It's about time he gains more recognition. I remembered watching him in his webdrama and 18 again. He really improved a lot and nailed his character here. Props to him for his good acting + the fact that has to act with sign language
Ep 4 was really fun and I laughed a lot! Jo boah and rowoon did a great job - rowoon especially!
I know the love potion thing is kinda just for laughs but in actual fact I'm still not really quite that comfortable with this set-up cause i want FL to feel more responsible for her actions.
Giving that love potion to anyone is just wrong and actually so selfish to tie them to you like this against their will. I dont like FL's attitude towards this whole situation. It's like she's frustrated the guy who drank her potion is not SML but she'd be happy if it was SML who drank it when in fact she should never have done this in the first place.
Really feared that would happen, but I hate these unnatural "falling in love" plots. So he really drastically…

Also that past lovers trope again... Can we please have a natural approach of falling in love?"
Yes! Finally someone is pointing this out. The whole "destined" thing is just so unrealistic and unconvincing! Why cant we get a drama where two people fall in love naturally without all these nonsense about past lives and love potions? What day and age are we living in?
I dont like shows where ML already has a gf who isn’t the FL. It makes me wonder why they dated in the first place and whether his relationship with FL will be convincing or not
In real life, if what ML did with his girlfriend is known to the public.. he would be labeled as a scum. As soon…
I believe that her senior didnt drink the potion but is nice to her because he wants to look good in front of the new manager because that's who he actually likes. The show is trying to trick us into thinking he drank it when he actually didn’t
ML is really childish and immature. It's not ding yuxi's fault but rather the script because his acting is actually really good. It's frustrating to see his character because of how unrealistic it is. The plot set up where he knows she is his online friend yet goes back and forth with his irl and his online self is rather annoying to watch. It's like he's toying with her and having fun with it. The fact that realistically speaking, if ML and FL had just a working relationship, FL should not be cooking for him regardless of whether he is sick or not. It’s completely irrational for her to do so just because she is his editor. And the fact that she's at his beck and call and that he calls her over for no reason frustrates me so much! It's a very poorly written ML character and a plot that lacks common sense. Basically ML is just really petty, childish and unreasonable.
I do like Janice Wu's acting a lot. I mean, I've seen her other shows before and while she lacks acting range, shes perfect for this role. She’s a natural comedic and is very expressive. She’s basically carrying the show bc half the time, it's her talking non-stop lol. I really like Gao Leng's character too
There were some stuff I wasn't very happy about in their relationship.
In one of the earlier episodes, ML told his friend that he is not allowed to enter FL's house even if FL allows him in. It begs the question, "what gives him the right to say that?" He isn’t even her bf despite the fact that they have feelings for each other.
I also find stuff like how he knows her shoe size to be rather... creepy? Anyway, it's just me.
No shade to ZBB but im not a fan of MLs who are possessive and even more so when they are not officially in a relationship.
I liked Ahn Eunjin's acting here - she was adorable and very expressive! I look foward to watching her future works and hope she gets more recognition! Her chemistry with Lee Dohyun was something I never thought possible - it was so refreshing! Can't wait for episode 2!
