I really enjoyed watching qiqi's character - I feel that she is flawed, vulnerable but very realistic and refreshing. She's a character that's a result of the rigid upbringing of her mum and coming from a background that lacks both proper love and a complete family. The reason why the other 3 main characters are more "likeable" is because they've had the privilege of experiencing the love and warmth of a true family.
I also liked how qiqi's character didn't follow the typical route of a main character. She never managed to fully integrate into the friendship circle of the other 3 and chose to follow her heart to choose the arts stream instead of the science stream. Also, her breakup with SC was a realistic portrayal of how even feelings of liking cannot overcome their differences in socioeconomic status, family background, and values.
I definitely wished they expounded more on how she changed her initial mindset of being very possessive in her friendships to one that became more open to accepting that it's okay to have friends that also have other friends etc.
