Unfortunately CCCP propaganda is a thing in modern C=dramas that have anything to do with technology, it was so blatant in You Are My Glory a blind person could see it, but i think most viewers including me, know what it is, ignore it and just carry on and enjoy the rest of the show, because all in all YAMG was a pretty good show.

I read somewhere (not sure if it's true but i could believe it with all those yummy yum yum recipes), that they did a 1000 copy print run of recipe books based on the show (for the Chinese market 😪 😪 ) and they sold out with in 10 minutes of going live online.

I agree with your comment about them maybe going for awkward etc because they are both inexperienced but i also think it could possibly be also the FL's age as she is only 22 or 23 and and wouldn't have done that many kissing scenes yet in her career, just a thought.

I don't usually watch modern c-dramas i'm more into historical and wuxia/xanxia as i grew up with scifi and fantasy and have always loved history so i tend to watch them more but a friends daughter recommended this so i thought i'd check it out

I never started this show because the story does not fit in this day and age with DNA testing etc, not to hard to find out who the dad is.

I'm not a fan of it either but it seems to be how most of them do it unfortunately, I've seen some good shows ruined by extensions to finish on a Friday because everything is rushed at the last minute.

Probabl;y because they pushed a couple of episodes back for 1 reason or another so their airing schedule for finishing on a Friday is all out of whack.
