There will be a lot of drama here and it has a slow pacing too, so while I really like it, I also understand why there are people who didn't like it.
But the story and acting is quite good imo. If you still want to try the series, maybe try it until around ep 8-10.

I already know the spoiler for Nan book, which involve Nan brother and their family. Nan and his brother relationship is...complicated, to put it simply. But as far as I know, Pi isn't involved at all.

Agree. I love angst story, but too much of it won't be good either.
But I'm curious what GMMTV will do if they decided to make it. Will they throw a lot of comedy to balance the angst part, or make it full angst story.

From what I read, they don't have the same father. Nan's mother having an affair with a driver, and Nan is their son. His love interest is the real son of Nan's father and his affair partner.
To put it simply, this family is quite a mess lol.

The only reason I continue is because the story itself isn't that bad. And I really like Mork. I hope it'll be enough for me to not drop it halfway.
But the point for this drama definitely going down a lot because of the humor.
