Title The K2
Let me do a recap for all the commenters leading a bizarre backlash (Selfish! Manipulative!) against Im Yoon-Ah's…
Nicely put. Just finished the drama and was astonished by the hate towards Yoona. She's not my favorite actress, but I think she did well here.

I actually have not seen Drawing Closer, will add to my list.

What kind of recommendations are you looking for?

I am currently watching Family by Choice, it's ongoing (eps. 13-14 coming out next Wednesday) and I am really enjoying it. Still has family dynamics but romance as well.

Also watched Mr. Plankton recently. It's more existential, has some family elements too and is mostly about love. Made me cry couple of times and is on a wilder side.

I really enjoyed both. 2521 was probably first k-drama that made me cry a lot and really sucked me into watching more. It remains among my top. ones. But I do need to rewatch it, since I've gained some drama watching experience.

20th Century Girl is almost condensed version of 2521 for me. Have seen it multiple times and it made me cry each time. I guess I really like bittersweet stuff.

Thanks for the recommendation. I will check out Girls Generation 1979.

Who ends up with who? Please tell who were involved in the love triangle?Any serious fights between the 5 friends?
I agree with you!
The scene where he confessed "jokingly" , I think Deok Sun understood. She's good at not making things awkward, enough to gave him closure. Writers kept the tension going really well.

I really like bittersweet endings. The emotional content of the drama is great. It's just even Jungbong'a future was mentioned, but not his brother's and he was one of the main love interests. That's why I was surprised they didn't tell us.

Thanks for your response!

Poor Jung Hwan, I was (for a second time) sure he's the one :D And even beyond that, I thought woah, Park Bo Gum…
Is Jung Hwan's and Dong Ryong's older life wver addressed? I think I might have missed it if it was. Just curious how they ended up.

Maybe 2521 or 20th Century Girl (movie), though haven't seen Girls Generation 1979, so can't tell.

What happened to Jung Hwan and Dong Ryon? Not sure if their older lives were addressed or if I missed it.

I just finished this and I really love the vibes and the English OSTs from Ahn Pan Seok's work. One Spring Night…
Haven't seen the second one, but somehow find myself ranking One Spring Night higher than Something in the Rain. SITR was a bit too melodramatic, to the point where I found myself rewinding a lot in the second half of the series. The mother was too much to handle, and her switch towards acceptance was out of the blue.

Will check out The Midnight Romance in Hagwon.

My luck, as I know it: the couples I have NO INTEREST in always have an endless number of romantic scenes in dramas,…
So many shows suffer from this. I think they wanna tease us with the main couple but leave us hanging while giving us the juice for the second couple that has less screen time. But unfortunately, it works! No choice but to watch it every week.

I would happily watch shorter and more focused dramas about one couple at a time.

Ok so I guess we all expected the ex is coming soon and now things might get heated up between him and MLGlad…
Do you know who the actor playing *her ex is? I was expecting a grand reveal, but I guess we were all overthinking.

Usually they start high and go lower with time. It's more of a popularity metric that the quality one, on this…
Fair enough, I did not mean it as a jab at you. I just think people are craving simple rom-com with good chemistry at this point. LND is not a masterpiece, but am I excited for the nest episodes? Yes. And I think this is what this rating is expressing.
