I was definitely liking the way this was done and drawn to it. However, in the middle it got too depressing for me and I had to drop it. Also, I agree that it seemed very odd and illogical that he had a chance to become a baseball professional given his huge problems both in the field and at school. Maybe I'll try to finish it some day. Not a watch for a relaxing Sunday evening.

The first episodes are their lowest point. This is a very warmhearted, healing drama. All the characters grow slowly. They begin to see their mistakes. I really like it, so comforting to stick around with the characters for a longer time. No wonder it was very popular when it first aired. I did wonder during the first episodes if it would stay depressing (not needing that right now) but it's not at all like that.

A lot of people watch but don't see. Or they are possessed by an evil demon whenever their hands touch the keyboard.

Drama specials are so good to watch when full lenght dramas start to drag and haven't decided what to watch next. I really liked this one, it's light and optimistic. The leads are very good. 8.5.

I dropped this one, the acting was so bad and it seemed to just fish for laughter on cheap jokes. Maybe it gets better but not returning to finish it.

This one's really lovely and enjoyable. Sweet and funny vibes. Strongly recommend. 9/10

I watched this without any expectations. It turned out to be entertaining and fun. Interesting too, about tv shows production. Not painting anything as rosy or heroic even when located in an actual network and talking about existing shows. Another good thing is that it ended when it was just about to become boring. I didn't fast forward much, which is for me a sign that a drama was good. It's true that this could have been more tightly thought out especially in terms of goals and directing. Gong Hyo Jin and Kim Soo Hyun were very good as they always are, and IU was great as Cindy.

Like many Hong Kong movies, this is all about atmosphere. Nothing much happens and it's to some degree open ended and enigmatic. It's up to the viewer's state of mind whether it's cherished or not. Cinematography plays a big role. I chose this because of Go Jun, and I feel that for someone enjoying small indie films this is great. 8.5

Namgoong Min and Moon Jung Hee are great here. Min is on fire in this role, displaying an emotional rawness we tend to only get small glimpses of in his full lenght dramas. It's a sad story about how the strong ideals and visions originally leading to a path have to give way to everyday struggles and petty politicking. Despite the sadness, very worth watching. 8.5

What a disgusting thing to say. I think 2PM always puts longtime fans in a priority position in ticket sales. The understanding has always been that their audience is a bit more mature. Hence stages like Good Man were possible in the first place. Ageism is ugly, but joke's gonna be on you before you notice. Karma is a bitch.

Agreed. Like watching Dumb and Dumber. What's the joy in it? I'm having this on while doing my abs. I'll finish it bc gyms are closed hahaha. But. Good comparison, didn't enjoy Weighlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo either. And I'm thinking how much better Run On is, there's intelligent dialogue, the 2nd couple is as interesting as the lead couple. I could go on and on, but Run On really raised the level of this type of series unfortunately so much as to make Fight For My Way unwatchable imo.

Yes, it's basically a movie. And it's really sweet. Perfect for a lazy Sunday evening. I wish there was a sequel, like where are the 3 characters five years later. The open ending wasn't sad at all. A hug for these two meant continuation, at least of deep friendship.

Many have recommended this and it was really good. Not a dull moment. I was of course curious to see Lee Junho in his first acting role, and boy did he stand out, already.

Lee Dong Gun totally stole the show. Great acting. Can't help but be drawn in by his charisma although he plays a sad tortured psychopath king. Yeon Woo Jin has only one expression in his face, irritated. Enough said. Park Min Young really is the queen of chemistry and a very great actress but here she had no chance of making it work or making the drama better. The first half was just filled with the leads being chased or at the verge of death every 15 mins. I think I've finally seen too much of those old bearded guys plotting to take over the palace. I like sageuks but only when there's a real depth to the characters. The second half was actually better as there were some quiet moments in between. Still, I couldn't get emotionally connected to this drama. I'd have wanted to know more about the reasoning of the characters since oftentimes they seemed to go from one stance to an opposite one without any explanation. 7.5. Don't hate me because my opinion is just mine.

Everyone is entitled to have their own hobbies and interests. Do I tell you to go and watch Nordic noir just bc it's good. No.

I really dig the "block user" function hahahaha. that c-drama creep is now outta my sight. relief. If it was my choice I wouldn't care to see any c-or j-drama content here at MDL at all.
