Am at ep 30 and skipping a lot. Frustratingly stupid and preachy, unintellectual drama. This should have been some 12 eps shorter. Let's see if I can finish. I really can't buy the FL as a general, watching mostly for Cheng Lei.

Finished Cold Hunt yesterday. Nothing exceptionally great, but a satisfying solid crime drama for those who are into this genre. This had great acting. Wan Qian was impressive as the female detective. Shawn Yue and his wing man ("Three") were memorable villains. (This is not a spoiler since we see the bank robbers in the beginning of ep 1). Two timelines, the second one deals with child trafficking.

Ball Lightning is coming after a 4 years wait.
Leading Stars looks very much like the next big hit.

The wait for the last episodes to drop is sheer torture.

Yet another bad hair day in k-dramaland. Bowl cuts and heavy bangs never seem to go out of style in k-dramas. (No one in my country has this hairstyle and I'm at a loss to understand it's continuing popularity in k-dramas bc you don't see the actors eyes or eyebrows which takes a lot away from the acting).

Am so glad Editorials are back. Plus completely agree about Number 1. Lots of people don't like My Journey to You bc it's a rather dark and serious drama. To me it was epic: the whole world building, breathtaking fight scenes, swoonworthy cinematography plus an epic crew of actors. A rare 9.5. from me.

The screenwriter has written Thirteen Years of Dust, and Beneath the Undertow. Both were excellent crime dramas. I watched ep 1, and this is solid and interesting.

Crash landing. The ending was both rushed and open. Very unsatisfactory. I was left with more questions than answers and that's bad for this type of mystery and crime drama.
