I preferred it that way. In a lot of time travel and parallel universes genre shows I've watch, they don't really…
Exactly. This problem would not be very difficult to solve. It would be enough if someone quoted anything, a fable, a scientific experiment, any banal explanation for what happened.

Obviously the difference between them is what happens in the movie is something "induced" by people while what happens in the drama is "involuntary": it happens to the character without him wanting to. In the first case, both "how" and "why" (ideas implantation) were explained. In the second, only the "how" was explained, the "why" not.
I used the movie example to support the script hole argument. But I know the difference between them, so much that I write above about the phenomenon object (train), in addition to its time and place. The "why" is that bothered me because it was not explained, as it was in the movie.
Blair Witch: the teens die "because" there's a curse there. "How"? Going there.
Train: Why is "that" train and no other a portal to a parallel reality? Why "only" in the rain? Why at "that" time and not another? Why "that" station and not another? They could put a beggar there to talk about some crazy legend from the past and the problem would be solved.

I understand you. But think about the movie Inception. Imagine if they hadn't explained how to got into the dreams of others. The beauty of this movie lies in the sci-fi argument that made every audience understand that universe, how it occurs and how it is related to sleep levels. It was great. The unanswered mystery they left was whether the protagonist was dreaming or not in the end. This is a good mystery that provokes discussions even today. If the mystery were the way they do it, it would just be a huge hole in the script.

But the mystery of this drama is "who is the killer?". This is the mystery that moves the drama, like Tunnel and Signal as well. The phenomenon that allows the mystery to be solved should be minimally explained, otherwise it looks like something random, an ex machina expedient of the script.

I think this is the screenwriter's laziness. Almost everyone can think of the most amazing concepts possible. The difficult thing is to create a coherent internal logic. Why a train? Why at that time? Why not a velocipede then at three in the morning? There needs to be some sense to that. Maybe I'm asking too much for a mere TV series. If it were a movie script, they would certainly think about it.

They exaggerate the complexity in the ending.

Like Tunnel, did not answer a basic little question: why does this main phenomenon occur with THAT train? Neither a psychic, a seer, nor a beggar mad man to give an explanation, even if it is fantasy or supernatural. It may be a curse, a paranormal phenomenon from the past, a scientific experiment, whatever.

Take with a grain of salt because my memory might be off, but I thought they said it was 80% melo and 20% thriller.…
I think it also depends on the style of k-drama. There are those with episodes of 30 minutes (not together) without that "film filter", which seem to have a malleable script regarding public reception (like "Secret Mother" ). These I'm sure are broadcast during filming. Dramas with more complex script are finished before the broadcast begins as it needs more planned editing and post-production work. On the other hand, these kind of dramas like south american TV soap operas, with family, melodrama and romance, I believe are shown in that format.
I watched Two Weeks a long time ago. I don't remember the story well but by my rating here I thought it was average.

I see. So are they still filming? Broadcasting usually takes place after filming is finished.
I like thriller, suspense, investigation but I loathe familiar melodramas.

That's why in ep.9 she is regretting her decision and enclosed the pendrive to Oh Ji Hyuk. At least she should…
Now it's gone. I personally would not be able to forgive that, I would totally distance myself from her. Anything is forgivable except cowardice to save a life immediately in the face of "supposed" harm that others "might" suffer.

I was surprised with her choice too.I want to believe that something else happened and we will see it later.
What happened was she convinced herself that was saving their lives, but they had the right to decide it and not her. She let a life be unjustly lost in favor of others without inform them.

Thanks for the answer. So I won't watch it.

Do you feel this will be more melodrama or more thriller? Persecution or family discussion?

Cool! The defendant was left alone with his prosecutor in a room DURING the trial.

This reporter killed the guy. She was a coward and put conveniences above an unjustly condemned human life. The others will know that in the future and, if I were them, she didn't deserve forgiveness.

This show looks like Tunnel, but instead of a time change, what changes is the parallel world. Like a multiverse.
