I get that she’s a victim of abuse and sometimes victims feel its hard to let go of something so toxic and hurtful…
That is not what’s being said? I said it’s been so long since she divorced him and she’s been better off without him. Where does that imply support of her going back??
I get that she’s a victim of abuse and sometimes victims feel its hard to let go of something so toxic and hurtful…
I completely understand this. Which is why it’s such a pity that even when she is already surrounded by other women trying to break the barriers, the society’s mindset has already been so deeply ingrained in her that she cannot escape it. I really thought it was possible for her to learn and become a strong independent woman by being around Mudan and the others— seeing examples of other women who doesn’t let the society’s prejudice stop them from being who they are or pursuing what they want. Unfortunately, it just seems like the more she is surrounded by more women pursuing their own things, the more she runs back towards her past.
First one was mistake but second one was a choice. So she chose the same guy again even if he tortured her so…
I get that she’s a victim of abuse and sometimes victims feel its hard to let go of something so toxic and hurtful HOWEVER, it’s literally been so long and she’s been so much better off without him. She doesn’t even think of the fact that Mudan, who is so stingy with money, literally pawned off everything she has to save her from him.
Its kinda sad how Yu Bofeng, potentially the most naïve and widely manipulated person in this drama, is the one who acts the loudest and stupidest… oh wait, that seems to track
The rest of the gang just like to bury their head in the sand. That joke and even the one she gave when defending…
omg yes! She was so lucky the other business man liked stand-up because the joke she used was so inappropriate for the setting. If this was a real life situation, I wouldn’t even be surprised if she had been fired already, if not seriously reprimanded. And the rest of them in the comedy bar has just been very selfish the whole time trying to convince her to keep doing stand-up. I get that they’re all trying to chase a dream but they’re also not the ones that will feed and shelter her if she ends up without money.
I’m mad that I’m agreeing with Zheng Hao about what Xiuya should do LOL all the guys at the comedy bar doesn’t work for a corporation so of course they wouldn’t understand the situation Xiuya is in. But realistically speaking, she works in the PR/marketing side of things for her company and she uses her real name as a comedian. Her joking about her work experience is one thing, but joking about the CEO when her name is easily searchable on baidu is tricky. I also don’t get what’s so hard about apologizing to the CEO anyway, her being nervous all day already tells us she knows she’s done something she shouldn’t have. Just apologize and move on, especially when this is the same leader who has been rooting to get her promoted to that new group they will put together.
The FL is a way better person than me because anybody who proposes to their girlfriend in public without them having talked about marriage first deserves a public humiliation. And doing it at someone else’s wedding? BRUH.
