He’s even re-writting history blaming Xiao Wuyi for losing Xie Jiayu when all along his greed of wanting to be the next emperor is what caused him to lose her in the first place while Xiao Wuyi gave him so many chances to leave with her.

I find it so funny that two weeks ago I was worried of being sad for Li Mao when Xie Jiayu falls in love with Xiao Wuyi because he was portrayed as such a nice caring person and it would be too bad to see someone like that be so heart broken. Well, NO LONGER! Li Mao is a bird and I hope his and his sister’s greed and lack of brains get then into lifelong misery at the end of all this.

As a fellow Meet Yourself enjoyer, it does kinda give that vibe. Main FL travelling to the small town (her hometown) to find some healing and rebuild herself. Except for this one, the plotlines revolve around the 3 childhood bestfriends (FL and the other two who stayed in the small town)
