Jungo frustrates me a bit. Every time it seems like he’s gonna do some grand gesture to try to win Hong over (or at least try to get her to have a conversation), he doesn’t. He just stops short and do nothing. Like sir, you already went all the way to SK. You already told her you want her back. You went to find her where she runs. And then you just go back to your hotel looking defeated? DO SOMETHING!!!

A lot of people seem to love Minjun here, but did anyone notice how he seems to know about Jungo already? He clearly knows something is wrong with Hong but instead of having that conversation, he shuts her up with food when Hong was about to talk about Japan. If he already knows deep down that Hong is not really in love with him but still goes through with the wedding, isn’t he just being selfish to get what he wants? Idk. Episode 4 can’t come soon enough!

I don’t know if “she tried with Jungo and it didn’t work out” is right. They are clearly in a way different circumstance than they were before. She also clearly said part of the reason their relationship ended was because of how young she was and didn’t know how to handle her feelings, isolated in a country where she only has one person to turn to.

I agree, especially about breaking off the wedding. It seems like she conflated love and companionship/gratefulness with Minjun, which was completely understandable given where she was mentally at the time. But if you’re this shaken just by seeing your ex-boyfriend— then that says everything about where your heart is already. Whether its just closure she needs or there are still so much unresolved feelings there, she needs to break the wedding off. For herself, but also for Minjun.
