In general how many projects you have isn't what puts you into "new" category. Most of the time being nominated for the first time (at that awards show) makes you "new". Unless your performance was groundbreaking pushing you to main award.

Its' confusing at DCA, but here there is no supporting actress/actor awards. So YHR is considered a "new lead" actress since her role was not lead actress, but she stood out performance wise without being lead and so she is nominated there.

True but for a remake it most likely will be talked about even after. Some right some will be proven wrong thats up to who gets casted to show acting skills and prove themselves

Well from what I can say when its a remake people will have actor/actresses in mind for a role. Nothing wrong with that. For non remakes the characters description and the actors/actresses filmography and image is whats being looked at to say who fits. So its no different from the directors. Also we dont know how limited the director is so their choice list might be short compared to others and just cast with what they have. So not ever role is right just cause the director picked them. Its the actors/actresses job to become the characters and not all do. Nothing wrong with fans wanting someone else for the role as long as their is no bashing. And even their own fans will say they dont fit the character either. Everyone works hard

Also like you said KTR cant do every role but its not like she has projects often so you will hear her name a lot from fans as they wait for her next role. Same for other actresses/actors
